I'm off to Manchester for the weekend, just wondering if anyone else has been... I've heard some right horror stories about the place!

I guess you could say I'm a wittle scared!  :?

The hotel next to the airport is nice.  Had a nights stay there once on a business trip.  I think the hotel is called The Ramada...  They do a very good fillet steak, but it cost about 35 pounds..  :?

You do realise you've just been really insulting to everyone in Manchester right?

Yes...and street surveys are so accurate....

I happen to heard good things about both Man U and Liverpool as well as bad. :)

If people just went on heresy no one would visit Northern Ireland as they assume it some kind of war zone where you liable to be bombed/shot as soon as you get off the plane.  :P

There's really no need to be so insulting to people when you have no provocation. ;)

Nah, not really expecting you to do that...the trafford centre's nice...shops, UCI cinema, shops, bowling alley, dodgems, shops, laserquest. restaurants, more shops...

Just got back from Manchester and I have to say that I had a lovely time, didn't think much of it during the day... very similar to Birmingham, but the Nightlife is fab! Went to Lucid, Tiger Tiger, Wave, Yates's, Edwards and over to Deansgate to do a spot of dancing on the bar in Teasers :k  (which I got told off for, *l*)... its nice to be home tho.

I'm off to Newquay, Cornwall next... yippee!!!!  :)
