Boston.com has a list of what they consider the top 50 sci-fi shows of all time. Each show also gets a short little info on em. Here's the list but go to the site to read the blurbs... My opinion of what I think of the show is under the names...but only if I ever saw the show.
50: Earth Final Conflict
(Surprised this even made the list)
49: Wild Wild West
(Uh..I never really considered this sci-fi...)
48: 3rd Rock From The Sun
(Aww come on..this should be in the top 5! )
47: Buck Rogers in the 25th Century
(Another one that should at least be in the top 10. Love the robot in this show! )
46: That Was Then
45: The Greatest American Hero
(Believe it or not! Another show that should be in the top 10. One of my fave shows of all time)
44: Lois and Clark
(This show beat out Greatest American Hero and Buck Rogers?? )
43: Nowhere Man
42: Science Fiction Theater
(Not to be confused with Mystery Science Theater 3000)
41: Futurama
(Wha?! This show should be in the top 5! )
40: Thunderbirds
39: The Man From U.N.C.L.E

(1960's version)

(Everybody's fave female cyborg! Well till Jeri Ryan anyways..)

(love this show...)

(I met Ray Walston several times. He was a nice guy.)

Lost should be higher  ... although, it is only after one season.
Where's DS9?
And more importantly! WHERE'S ALIAS?
Ok, maybe it's not totally 'science fiction', but it definately has sci-fi elements. Did you not see the big red floating ball of doom over a Russian city?

And also, where are the Dead Zone & the 4400?
And if Lois and Clark are in there, where's Smallville?
And also, Roswell was a good show.
Yay for Dark Angel though. I loved that show.
When Alias first started I used to watch Jennifer after Jessica.

Aye where is The 4400? A great show and alot better than a lot of things on that list. Battlestar Galactica (New) should be number 1. TOS shouldn't even be in the top 50. Sure it's what started the franchise but really....it's the worst of every other series, with the exception of Enterprise and they run neck and neck for being the worst of the group  .

Um, where IS DS9 and the 4400?
The 4400 is better than any show I've seen recently. It may even overtake DS9 as my fav.
the only ones I even liked on that list were:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, ST: Voy, Sliders
And Sliders was awesome! It should've been higher..Hmmf. I dislike this list.
I also didn't care much for TOS or TNG..but some people did. Eh.

there's soooo much wrong with that list i am not even going to start!
It'd be like pulling on a bit of wool from a sweater if i do, and i'll end up unravelling the lot!
hold on....
Lois and Clark in.... Smallville not in! makes perfect sense...hmmmm *starts pulling*
Correct me if i'm wrong, but i am not seeing the Clangers on that list either!
