Hey folks,
Just typing a little to say hello to you fine people again. I will be heading out on another deployment with my ship again to the mighty Persian Gulf and wherever they decide to take me. It will be my last deployment on Active Duty so it will be pretty memorable for me I suppose. I will only have about one more month in-port until I go out so I wanted to write this while I could.
I do remember on my last deployment though, I came into the chat while I was in the United Arab Emirates, though, so I believe I will see you all again. After I am done with that deployment though, I am out of the service and I do not know if I will be coming back (at all) due to life catching up to me. I should be heading to places like Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, Russia, Singapore, Guam, Malaysia...... the Middle East, on this deployment, so I hope to catch a glimpse of an internet room somewhere out there and come back again.
But until then, I hope to see you before I go, but if not... I offer you all a very fond farewell and take care of yourselves. You will be in my mind and all that good stuff.

Meep!! C-ya on the news Buck!! The Reagan always seems to make it on the news in one form or another. 
BTW...i've often wondered. Did you meet that girl with the ruptured appendex and did ya know the dude from your ship who was on American Idol last season?
Oh and was the show "Surface" really filmed on the Reagan or was that another ship?? I was totally laughing when the scenes showed up. Im like "I have a friend on that ship!" *lol*

I did meet that girl, I had to give her a security escort through our hangar bays while she was being transported.
And I do know that guy from American Idol, he was a pretty good buddy of mine. He has transfered off the ship now, though.
And Surface was filmed on the ship, I didn't get to meet anyone but I remember seeing some cameras. I was on my shotgun watch when that "Ink" show came onboard, they filmed me and I think I was sexy...
But that's my life in a nutshell
