With all this petty bickering around here I'm just glad that I have a life at the moment.

In other words ..I'm just glad that this breakdown in solidarity did not occur while I was getting to know some of you, whom I am glad to include amongst my friends.

For those (I'm still not sure if this includes me) who are dissatisfied, I think it's time to take up a new hobby.

We had some great times here

It wouldn't be on so many threads if it really was petty, and it does indeed upset many people. So, telling people they have no life because they point out what they don't like about a community they're part of and frequent regularly doesn't make them feel better. And telling them to get a new hobby is exactly the same as other people did before: you're pushing them away. That will never change the status quo around here; and change is needed. Time to move on from all these "good old times" and "friends we had". It's 2008, not 1998 anymore. Things have changed. People have changed. OTF is not like it used to be, and instead of trying to keep the very few people we still have here with us, I've seen a lot of people saying things like "Hey, if you don't like it, then go" as if it would be nothing to find new people to make year-long friendships with. And then you say that there's not enough love here? You guys will really end up alone if you keep pushing people away. This makes them feel uncomfortable, and worse: unwanted.

Also: are we talking about Rammstein?

Yup Rammstein is still on hiatus

There are plenty of other cool bands and festivals to go to.
We went to pink pop 2008.
Check out this awesome lineup : http://www.pinkpop.nl/page.php?pagID=421

In a few weeks we're going to the Lowlands Festival. http://www.lowlands.nl/
If Rammstein does go on tour again I hope I hear about in time to get tickets because I'm sure they'll seel out.

Groetjes,
V

and I want to move to Ramstein!

I lived in Ramstein many many many moons ago. It's one of the few places in Germany with a traffic light cuz my dad had a car accident there. *lol*

Wait, what? Ramstein has a traffic light because your Dad had an accident? Did they build it because of the accident?

Or is Ramstein one of a few places where a traffic light was built because your Dad had an accident?

Because there's more than a few places in Germany that have traffic lights...

i've been to Germany enough times, I remember there being traffic lights everywhere.

Quite surreal seeing I come from Scotland and hence live in a thatched cottage in the hills of Loch Ness apparently.

It's cool that the English missionariees let you use the computer station in your village. Have they taught you people to wear underwear yet?
