So Hank Green put out a list of how to be a better Internet Citizen.
Mr. Greens list was as follows (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=liAp9iGg7oc)
- People on the internet are people - Everyone is complicated and you can't know someone from one post - Removing comments that dehumanize or mock other people isn't censorship it is kindness. - Everyone can see what you put on the internet so be thoughtful. - BS detection is a crucial skill but it takes a while to develop this skill - Cite your sources - Don't cite stats you can't find sources for. - Don't share things that might be lies. - You don't know everything, no one does. - Don't steal stuff - give credit where credit is due. (this is similar to the cite stuff) - Try to source un-sources content. - Anyone can edit Wikipedia, if you see a spelling our grammar mistake, fix it. - you can fix vandalized pages on Wikipedia by by going to page history and reverting it. - If you would like to do more then fix errors on Wikipedia read about what you should do before you go for it. - If you are joining new online communities recognize there will be rules you don't know yet. - If you are part of these communities realize new people won't know all the rules yet (cut them some slack) - Don't expect that you will be able to follow all these rules all the time.
What do you all think? Do you like this list? dislike it? think that he missed something?

What's to dislike?
I would argue that some people on the internet are not people at all, but some subhuman variant of awful. (do we have to share a species name with the baddies? )
