As of the time I write this post:
There are 10,193 replies on the Forums. Subtract my total, 947, and the rest of you have made 9246 replies. So, in a way, I have pushed you all above 10,000. Yay for me. Then, to make it more interesting, you could say that my post total is equal to all the posts in the Guilds and Simming Forums combined, with a hundred and ninety-seven left over. With that one hundred and ninety-seven, you could remove all of the posts from the "Other" Forum of the Sci-Fi/Fantasy Series Section, and still have four posts left over. Aren't I an abomination? ;-)
Now, if you want to try another method, with the opposite result; you could remove my total, nine hundred and forty-seven, from the Star Trek Forum, leaving me in the red by one hundred and seventeen posts. Now aint that sickening? :-P
I love the stats, Anth! If you feel like doing that again, I'd love to read it!

Oh, yes, by the way! Did anyone notice I was gone for three whole days? Yes, I said three. All those days, I didn't have e-mail, and I didn't make one single forum post. See, now why do people have to announce temporary leave, when no one is going to notice their absence anyway? :-P

A big, hearty congratulations to Anth and Dierna, who are about to hit 500 posts, to Zilette who just passed that mark, to Babel for time traveling past 700, to Hong for grabbing the 100 mark, and to Xemxija for hitting 400 this morning.
Now, I gotta ask, why does anyone care when I hit a century mark, and not care about anyone else? 'tis not right. Y'all go all hug each other and stuff! *throws balloons and blue ribbons around for all y'all* And get yer butts in those chats rooms more 'fer D gets all rowdy and hits us. *cowers in the corner*

Hi all and welcome to page 17 of my new novel. In many books page 17 is a sad anti climax after the exciting events described in pages 15 and 16. I hope to avoid this pitfall by making my page 17 into one of the most exciting and action packed page 17's that you've ever read! In alot of books, page 17 contains purely descriptive matter, and in others it is still only part of the introduction, but not so this one....We say: get a move on novelists! And let's have more page 17's like this one:
Her slender body thrust forward by the the enormous power of the 6,000 h.p engines, as Horst hurled the car into a shrieking, sickening slide across the wet tarmac. The lion tore savagely at his bronzed thighs as the car soared into the air, turned, twisted, and plunged down the treacherous ski slope, that no man had survived before. Tenderly Eunice caressed him as the fighters screeched out of the darkness, flames ripping towards them. The sea was coming nearer and nearer, and though neither had eaten for 8 weeks, the stark terror of what they saw gave them the last drop of energy to push their bodies to the limit. Eunice groaned, the dark figure of Shan-el-Shid, dagger raised, hurled himself from the sheer wall of the palace. Horst reversed, swerved, coughed and threw himself into the gorge. Never had Horst known such divine pleasure, as far above him a million Dervishes swept into the fort, looting and pillaging. The Colonel screamed an order, and with one enormous blast the refinery was a sheet of flame - a wall of fire six miles long and eight miles high. I got grounded. But my mom was just joking. I think. I have yellow shirts and a blue shirt on. my hair has natural red highlights in it. my eyes are green. the frame on my glasses are black and most people online think i'm 15.
