I came home yesterday morning from work to find I couldn't get my house... out of the seven different side roads that lead to my road, I only found one I could get through. When I got to my house, I found that the creek was up in my front yard. The house is up on a hill and the water had come up over the hill and had completely covered my north driveway. I took my animals and went to my parents.
We returned today to find thankfully our sump pump in the basement had kept up and we only had a damp basement floor instead of the four feet my neighbors had. Several of my neighbors lost their washers, dryers, cars, and suffered damange to their homes. I just have a messy yard to clean up when it dries out. Thank goodness that God was watching over me.
Thanks for all the messages and love. I put up the pictures of the flood before I left my house and then pictures from the next day when we came back. I am glad to be back in my house. I give credit to my grandpa's genius in how he put my house up on a good sized hill.
I hope all the other peeps around me faired as well! I'm thinking of you. Thanks to Matt and my other friends at OTF for showing concern!

Looks like everywhere is being hit with the floods. England just recently got a load of them though luckily we didn't get them down where i am. And i'd say that your tomato plants were pretty much screwed.
However, Amanda, you have an awesome amount of land there. I'd so marry you if you'd let me,
