I've been a part of what could be call some mini unions. But, I threatened them within a inch of their life to not send in any pictures to DS. And, consequently, if I ever see myself on the updates board, I will kindly ask DS to remove it. To be honest, you meet friends from this site, which is great, but when you become friends in real life, when you meet, it's not about OTF members getting together. It's about friends getting together. And, no, I don't feel that the OTF community needs to know when, where, what, who, and how I meet up with my friends. Sorry, DS.

So, since people seem to be throwing out new location ideas (mostly their own hometowns/areas of living), I'd like to put Anchorage, Alaska into consideration. You guys want a union during the summer, and Alaska is simply beautiful (and warm!) during the summer. Granted, people claim it's too expensive to fly to, but hey, I have to fly out to everyone else. Maybe you Europeans and Lower 48'ers should return the favor (although none of you have visited me up here yet. I was speaking about Europeans and Lower 48'ers in general)

I can top that! St. Joseph, Missouri is the way to go. We have Jesse James and the Pony Express! What does Alaska have? Snow and Polar Bears! Plus Nelly said it best..."M-I-crooked letter-crooked letter-O-U-R-I, no one can do it better, yeah!"

We have fishing, hiking, plenty of sight-seeing around town, the Beartooth Theater, and much more!

If your the RPM from Toronto that I met almost 10 years ago, then your pics are on my homepage, not this site.

BTW, the pictures that appear on the updates is controled by Iain.
He always asks permition of picture owner before adding photos to list.
If you see a photo of you on the updates, just e-mail him to have removed.

*Edit* If I attend a Union, your pictures WILL appear on my homepage, but will be taken off the outpost if wished.

I'm not going to change the location of the 10Th Anniversary Union.

Yes there will be no Star Trek Experience by then (other Unions didnt have a Star Trek Experience, but we still met up and saw the sites), but that would have been part of one day. A day we could use to see the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam (something I think most of the original attendee's didnt get to see).

As for the Water Park closed as well, maybe there is a substitute *shrugs*

If we keep changeing location, people will get confused on where it will be held and finaly just wont show.

This is my first Union/Meet-Up/Gathering/Get Together I have organised outside of London. But I do have a few Navada residence willing to get the info needed.

*Edit* This is an Outpost Union.... Outpost as in Star Trek/Star Wars/Lord of the Rings, which means Sci-Fi and Fantasy. Yes the original Union was Star Trek as that was the only room(s) at the Outpost then.

Grand Coolie Dam is bigger than Hoover. I've been to Hoover Dam and there wasn't any water in it....I was like "WTF?!".... Grand Canyon's pretty...especially in the summer.

But my fave part of the Grand Canyon is the North Part in Utah. Bryce and Zion canyons rock!! I spent a week in em years ago. They've got cabins and stuff you can stay at too. Gotta watch for the squirrels tho...they can get in your rooms. Annoying little things. *L*

This one time I went to Kerry and went on a boat to see the dolphin and it was cool. We even saw a ray in the water, and then it started raining, and it kept on raining the whole time while we were there.

Ah, south-west Ireland. Let's go there.

Are we set for the June 29th - July 5th bracket? Also, I thought J said she was open for C? I say this because, while C is the most awesome group, this would make it even more awesomer! Also, my grammar is bar none. We've got thirteen people that say they're cool with June 29th - July 5th, fourteen counting Mrs. Daecrist. While you guys would have to put up with me for a bit, look at all of the other awesome people going! This is the deal of the century, people!
