it wasn't hacked persay. abuse of privilages ain't the same as hacking.

used their access rights to mess stuff up that all got fixed anyway. So no big deal anymore.

We had a Deputy Sector Commander who went a little funny in the head and decided to abuse his access rights to start deleting records and generally wreaking havoc in the system. Andrew Maxwell was able to pull the plug on vital systems before anything really nasty happened, and Iain was able to restore everything within a few hours. The member has since been banned for life from the site. This was all about half a year ago.

Sorry I was referring to Online Starbase that had something major happen to it in March 2008.

No one here recalls http://onlinestarbase.proboards59.com/index.cgi which I was told was hacked into in March. The admin of onlinestarbase spoke highly of you guys and just thought that perhaps someone here knows more.
