Did anyone other than me notice the passing of a great sci fi writer. Phillip Jose Farmer? "Maker of Universes," "Gates of Creation," etc? Has no one else read him?

Aye.. he died a couple weeks ago. I love his Wold Newton Universe. It's like one huge fan fic that connects every novel and tv show ever written. Like Hulk being a descendent of Dr. Jekyl and being a cousin of Lois Lane. Or Spock descended from Dick Grayson (Robin/Nightwing) and Sherlock Holmes (who also has MacGyver and Bruce Wayne among his descendents).

If you read my post you'd clearly see that I know who Phillip Joseph Farmer was. What with me being a fan of his Wold Newton Stuff.
