Right Game Back Online.
Note: Ticks Reduced from 10 minutes to 3 Minutes, for faster play.
However price of component upgrades have been increased 50%
and all device prices have been increased 100%.(Excluding mine
deflectors, which are reduced by 50%)
Note 2:
Ive also added in 3 xenobes for your cannon fodder if you can track them down. 2 are quite easy, one is a big toughie though -_-

Re-wrote GenScore Function
Notes:
GenScore Function kept resetting the score to 0. Silly Major Bug In Sourceforge BNT.

Right so i'm confused, is BNT out of beta testing or not? because it seems like keep getting reset for no reason. am very confused. am getting tired of restarting for nothing

Re: Updates, due to some major bugs (which have all been sorted out) some resets where required. However we're now under official first round status, so the game shouldnt be taken down =) unless a major bug is spotted. (allthough even then I will try and minumise disruption.).

okay i was just curious because my ship keeps getting destroyed and having to start over so was confused. especially considering lzrman seemed to be always commenting about. i was like, huh? what? how? why? *L*

Oh erm *checks logs* ... the Xenobes have an affinity for you.
(Xenobes are low level ships who roam and pick out each targets )

Also found an error with the IGB i had taken out a small loan to help get my ship back up but i also paid back that loan, however suddenly today it's saying i owe 2,013,435. How can i progress if it won't let me upgrade my ship at special ports and constantly getting attacked by the Xenobe's

Ive let the loan to be quite harsh so if you do use it, it does grow quite fast what size loan did you take out?

only took out a 2000 loan and i paid it back the same day or so i thought.. but it seems to be growing rather largerly rather quickly and won't let me do anything else in the game and can't even upgrade my ship to carry more energy and such :S
in just like 2 or so hours it's up to 4,254,482

This is a different Loan system to OTF BNT 
And is now based on ticks and not related to turns taken. So every 10 minutes your account is assessed and loans are calculated. Basically if you dont pay off a loan within 24 of taking one out, ... your probabily never going to be able to pay it off. (This was deliberatly set to be harsh as this is a short round only going to be lasting 2/4 weeks, and it would be unfair to hand out a loan which would give a player an advantage with which they could win the game without paying the loan back.)
I am toying the the idea that when you take out a loan, the bank takes half your score as collateral... =).
On another note: fixed repaying bug.

i assume your getting "Depositing XX credits would put you over the maximum limit." error?

Put this down to human error, i rewrote the igb code, and i created a maxumin limit for the igb which i stupidly left at 0

Update:
Rewritten Cookies, Now include support for multiple people using the same computer (where accepted).
Also changed cookie timeout from 8760 hours down to 1. Silly cookie.
Effects will take place next time you log in.

News is now online. for those of you that did notice, and those that didnt. LOL.
Secondly a random message to you all, some hard reported a 0 colonists bug, with specific ship levels, could if anyone if effected by this bug please enlighten me as to what tech levels etc you have and i can investigate furthur. (poke my inbox)

Update:
If you now look under options, you may now change your character name. This is only a test, if this get abused with people constantly changing their name, this will be withdrawn.
Updated Rankings to show ship name.

fixed, so you can now arrange those funarels for that % of colonists killed XD.
Updates:
Fixed none showing percentage - this does not effect the game, its just somthing in the log being incorreclty grabbed.
Fixed Energy Storm - this was causing the conflict also. As above, does not chaneg the game just the log.
Everything should show correctly now
