Actually, I didn't have to google. I ran every episode through in my mind, and was all "Hey, they ALL have Earth". Then realised I'd forgotten insurrection

Incorrect, it's Star Trek V: The Final Frontier.

Incorrect. Jerry Goldsmith's score that came to be associated with ST:TNG was first used as the theme for Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Shatner recycled it for STV to save a bit of cash.

Incorrect.

TNG was 1987. TMP was 1979. So how could a past movie have a theme from the future?

Although TNG uses the TMP theme, but on a different tempo, from memory, it happened much later.

By the literal phrasing of the original question, "The score from TNG was also used in what other Trek iteration?" almost explictly means it has to be after because the TNG theme didn't exist until after TNG occurred.

If the question had been phrased "The TNG theme is a variation from which movie", the answer would be TMP.

But, for the reason I stated above, the correct answer to the original question "The score from TNG was also used in what other Trek iteration?" is Star Trek V: The Final Frontier.

Okay gents, while I can appreciate spirited discussion, this is not the place for it. In the future, please limit replies to this thread to answering the questions. If you have an issue with a question or answer, please send me an e-mail.

That said, all points stand as they are.

And point to Chocolate Kit Fisto for Mark Lenard.
