This set of trivia begins tomorrow (Sunday). Just to give everyone a heads up on what to study, the theme of this week will be Star Trek: The Next Generation: Encounter at Farpoint. There will be a lot of questions and there will be a wide variety of difficulty. So, if you are in doubt, pull out that DVD and refresh yourself on the nervous ticks of young Deanna Troi and the talking-dictionary nature of Mr. Data.
It's going to be a fun week!

This week's trivia has a specific theme. All of the questions in this week's set are in regard to the very first episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation (Encounter at Farpoint: Part 1 of 2). Some will be hard, some will be easy – it may help to pull out the DVD for assistance...

HINT: The person was a Starfleet Officer (LT) and was not a main character (however he was mentioned by name several times throughout the "Encounter at Farpoint").
