thats why arnies terminator was covered the way it was
but in a way they broke that rule in T2 Judgement day with the T 1000
but that was later explained away I think in a book saying somehow liquid metal was in tune with the displacement field

which could also explain why the TX couldve possibly come through as well in T3 since the tx was a cross between an endo and a t 1000
