*rolls eyes* Jadz, that's not what I meant :P 'course I dun mind people hearing my accent, I was just being my usual funny self *L* I'm sure it would be really fun, and I'll bring Timmy along if he can get on a microphone...

... *does an 'evil' Janeway dance* I know how Wenche and Timmy sounds like NANANANAA cause I talked to them :k :P *huggles Mannionbabe 'n Timmy-Wan*

... but the problem is the global time differences. Me 'n Timmy are usually online around midnight PST, I think that's the best time if we want to have the biggest chance :)
However, no one answered my questions... though I guess Yahoo has information about voice chatting on their site. And Anth, as you seem to have a headset, is there a certain program to install for better performance when using the headset and talking to someone? Cause talking over headsets is a lovely idea, it costs a lot less than phone calls! :P

There will probably be a voice chat night this Friday. I'll be online then, and looking around for people. Since, usually, everyone can figure out OTF time, I'll go ahead and say, 19:00 PST for it, though we might start an hour or two earlier, depending on who is online then.

Katelyn, Soran, Goose, Lzr, Jadzia, Anth, Zandetta, Three27, Firenaut, Kaela, and anyone else who has been to one, see if between now and then, you can send me a message to say if you'll be there or not. *grin*

And, folks, let's not turn this thread into a public messenger window. :-P

We had a voice chat last night, and had a couple of new people join us! CL7 Smile and CL5 Jade Dagger came in, and we all had tons of fun!

We'll probably do another one tonight, though tomorrow, I won't be around. I'm sure y'all know about July 4th, so, I'll be out watching fireworks. Any of y'all want to get together tonight, though, just turn on your Yahoo Messengers and look for me!

He forgot to turn off the mic?! *LOL@Jadzia*

Yeah.. two great people that participate are Jadzia and Anth. Sure, they steal the show, and for the first however-many minutes, they tend to be the only ones talking. Or rather.. laughing. *g* 's sooooo funny, I was squealing tonight..

Well, and Quincy's rendition of "I Will Survive" .. All I can say is, first I was afraid, I was petrified..

'n' Tanya gave us a tour with her webcam.. was great. *g*

'twas very fun, I love this. I'm so glad I started coming in 'n' listening.

Hey Jadzia, he nibble not on that side of the cookie!! *LOL*

Nobody love my singing, 'cept Katelyn, of course. ;-)

We had a lot of fun last night! Not as many people showed up. Thought Kypdurron might come online, but seemed he was busy babysitting. Goose never showed up, the silly bugger, but we'll rope him in next time.

Anth, Jadzia, you guys need to come up with some games we can play! I can only do so many silly voices. :-P

I think the next voice chat I'll be able to attend will be Wednesday. I'd attend one here at my grandparent's house but I dun know where their mic is and I wouldn't be able to be on late at night cuz I would wake them up.

The problem I have with webcams, and this is for all of you to read, is that it slows our computers down too much. Connectivity can be a problem for those with dial-up, but so can the problem of how fast the computer runs with one on. Personally I think it's a big hastle to do it, though definately great fun. If we were to do a webcam again, could we, I wonder, do it one cam per night, 'stead of something like five of our cams going at once?

The most webcams we've had going at once is four... it's all very possible. This was on my little computer too, the slow one. Whereas, a DSL connection makes a difference.

Funny how the two biggest chatters, Robert and Lzrman, are the ones on 56k!

I'm not on 56k, I'm on DSL, uhm, like I said. :-P

Jadzia, and all you other Europeans out there:
I'm certainly not opposed to doing earlier chat times. The only reason, so far, why I haven't done one is that not many people have been online at that time. I guess if I were to have one earlier, it would be a lot smaller.

But hey, any Europeans, or Australians, or whomever, y'know, if you're interested, just send me a Yahoo message! *grin*

Hello all

I just downloaded Yahoo Messenger. Now I have ICQ, MSN AND YAHOO. I sent a message to rag451 to be added to my list. Dierna, and all you other Yahoo chatters, can you please email me at Kathryn Janeway-Riker and give me your yahoo ID, so I may add you to my Yahoo list.

Do any of you chat between 8pm-11pm est. After 11pm est I am off line most nights. I would like to chat with some of you. You will have to explain to me how to do the voice chat. I have never used Yahoo. Only ICQ and MSN. I have a build in MIC. Does the live chat work with this, or must I plug in my external MIC? I do hope people will email me, so I may be apart of your group. I am from Canada. I am also online sometimes during the day, but at no certain hour.

My Yahoo ID is kathryn_janeway_riker

If I ever get my mic to work then I'll attend.

Seems like my speech option isnīt installed... and the way that windows explains doesnīt help.... missing part there.
So if any one was able to get a mic to work, while using the dam XP version of Windows, then please tell me how, before I really start hating this computer.
