Hey, everybody. Had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday, but I am feeling better. I'm rather surprised I'm going this well, but hey, I won't complain. *grin* Figure I might do a voice chat tonight, depending on who is online. So, tonight, oh, round 6PST, come on your Yahoo and see if I'm there. Maybe we can all have a little Friday Night Happy Hour!

Just had a nice little two-on-one voice chat with Katrina and Al on Yahoo. I hope they'll come in one night when we have a dozen or so folks. They're both as nice on voice as they are in the chats, which absolutely delighted me no end, though I did call them both weird. Yes. Anyway, that's all for me for now! *laugh*

Dommy - Because Lzrman, who's initiated this get together has said he can't use Skype. It locks up his PC. I don't think it's fair to move this planned event to software the host can't run. Doesnt seem right, or fair.
Jadzia uses Skype to talk to family overseas, its very good. I've never used it, and don't know how it handles a large gathering.
back in the old days we found Yahoo was best for a large group. Others were equally as good 1 to 1. I don't know if Skype fall into that catagory.
Lzr : Thanks for those old sound file clips over in the otf addict thread. A right laugh!
Glad to know i'm not the only one to still have them. I got a "OTF sound file cd rom" *L*

Skype has a max number of 4 people all together in a conference i believe, i don't know if yahoo can hold more than that?

Yahoo handled alot more than that, plus webcams back when we did this before.
Going by OTF chat room numbers at the moment though, four should be adequate.
Just kidding. Skype is great. I just feel if people have hardware issues and it only lets four people chat in a conference mode, thats not for us.

If someone could tell me why it locks up my computer, and help me so it doesn't occupy 100% of my CPU, i would love to do it over skype...Anth, ya yahoo held like 10 of us in the past.
