I have organized and participated in two unions, my first being in August of 2001, the second in August of 2002, both in Texas. The last one, while fun and enjoyable, lacked the attendance that I had hoped for, and since then, I have been wary of planning another one; however, since we now have these forums, this could, perhaps, give me a better idea of how to guage interest in planning another union for the Lone Star State.
I don't plan on having a union anytime in the near future, but, if my life goes according to how I want it, and if I continue at this community, I would like to have another union no earlier than the spring of 2004.
Anyone interested?

I may be going to New York next year, late summer or perhaps around X-mas.
I wouldn't mind meeting some of the east cost peeps when I do.

 I'm in New Mexico , USA. Anyone else live the South West sides myself? Anyone interested in hosting a SW union? And to Ragg: Where r u in Texas? I'm in Albuquerque, NM. How far would the drive be?

Is that detailed enough?<br><br>Since I'm registered as a Star Trek affiliate, a Star Wars union would be irrelevant for me to attend. Hai! (Yes, I know that means yes  )
Um, I'm on the east coast again... just so peeps know.
Firstly, I'm going to be in DC Marchish, (plans may change....) Not ure when exactly. Mum is going down for some peace activitst work, and we are going to see a museum or 3... and so I want to meet some peeps there.
Secondly, Char! You live in Maine right? *pokes* I'm in Millinocket ATM, but come start of the semester, will be going to Bangor every Monday.... if you want, perhaps we could meet at an mutually workable locale?
Thirdly... Anyone else in the Upper New England/Just across the border in dear Canada wanna have a union? There ARE alot of us up in this corner.... We should meet. if nothing else.
Fourthly, I am going to Quebec, sometime around May 1-5 2003. (This is nearly set in stone, though I may be there longer.) I am going to be in Montreal, and will try to hit Quebec City, cause Nobbe and Dom will be there.... So if you are up that-away... poke me.
and Fifthly, Roberts union rocked  No, some peeps dinna show... but who cares. I had fun. *huggles him* thankies.

*reunions* mm *thinks* i always wanted to attend one but there always to far for me to travel. But i know several peeps live in Illinios and around. I think we should have one in Illinios sometime soon would be Fun for all the Illinois peeps to get together. There's always tons of stuff to do in chicago and it's only *thinks Like 3 or 4 hours from me

Well, Im all up for meeting at a union. Mainly my time is spent in North Dakota (what with school and all.) Not the best place I know, but maybe down in the Minn area?
Best bet would be for me to hope for one when im back home in North Idaho. Say have one in Seattle or somethin, I could even drive there
Hopefully I can stay informed enough to be able to make something someday, lol. Love to meet some of you peeps, that'd be awesome

Speaking of an East Coast Union (oh and btw....Richard you had better let me know when /if you hit NY....I'm so there ) back on topic now : it's been brought to my attention that a certain peep from Pensacola , FL *coughs* Kyp *coughs* wants to plan an southern East coast union, perhaps springish time frame. Perhaps in the N. Carolina (was that near Duke University Kyp....can't remember the name of the town ) for a gathering of us freaks. Anyone interested? If some of your Northerners wanna ride, I'll probably be driving and I'm sure I'm pretty much a half way point or something like that let me know. I'm not even 100% sure I can go, however....he's talked to a buddy and can get up to 20 rooms for 25.00 a night. See Kypdurron for more details. Flood his mail box, help him feel the love *LOL*
Anyway he's probably gonna shoot me now for telling ya'll that. But it could work as a starting point for the 3rd or 4th mini union in the states we don't do this as well as our Euro buddies do *LOL* anyways be in touch!

Alexis and I are about two hours away from Durham (Duke's city) so probably would be able to make it to something in that area. *shrugs* If it was actually gonna happen that is... don't really wanna go to Durham and talk to my aunt or anything. *l*

I have never planned one and not sure how to start.. but seriously considering it..
