So, one of the previous polls showed that, primarily, OTF visitors come from one of four main places: Canada, USA, Europe, or Australia. No surprises there, since those are the primary consumers of Western culture in general.

Europe is a big place though. It's a continent. I'm curious to see a geographic breakdown.

I can only put ten responses on this poll, so I'll be lumping some of the smaller countries together. Please, there's no need to remind that Ireland is politically independant of Britain, I did pass high school. This poll focuses on geographic locales, not political boundaries.

And FYI Luxemborgers (or whatever they call themselves :P) speak Luxemborgese...it's a differetn language altogether, kinda sounds like French, Dutch and German mixed together *pokes anyone who knows more about this than herself*

Richard: That's 50% worth of various Dutch heritage talking, Mister. *offers you some herring*

Monny: Those crazy miniscule European countries! You learn something new every day...

V'ger:Sorry, there wasn't room. ;) I  really wasn't aware there were any members from Icelandic regions. TECHNICALLY you could consider yourself Scandinavian, but I'm sure I'm opening up a whole new can of political incorrectness.

Why do I do this to myself?

I believe the three official languages of Switzerland are German, French and Italian. So what you come across in Lucerne may be quite different from say Geneva and Lausanne. Not really sure tho...

Did you know they have a tunnel which doubles up as a nuclear bunker, that is able to house 90% of the country's population?

Well, y'prolly did, but...Scary... :?

Ooooh..and PS, yes..Greenland is =) The country with the most volcanic activity in Europe! Okay, so that was probably known as well. But eh. =) Cooooool!

I don't think any of us Viking types will be offended if you just put Scandinavia down, greenland would go under that too since their under the Danish crown and defence, luckily there aren't any greenland people to throw liberty seals at me *g*
and Lorgar has a point, I'll need to go teach my old ancient history teacher for feeding me fish stories about polis' *mutters* can't trust anyone these days!

Lorgar: Hey, I thought Richard's joke was funny. *G*

Tom: Good to hear. One does have to be careful about these things though. For example, even though one's island country is a clear member of a particular geographical region (and so named on major maps), others cannot mention this fact for fear that is somehow relates one politically to the other countries in that region.

Work is under way, however, to completely detatch said island from the European continental shelf, making it clearly politically AND geograpically independant... at least until continental drift causes it to collide with North America in a few million years.

That'll show me...

No wait,

America is drifting west and will eventually smash into japan Korea and China.
While Europe is being pushed east into asia.  Though this may all change if the red sea does turn into a new mid alantic rift.

Time's up...

Tsk... I really expected you Germans to give a bigger showing. Oh well, at least the Dutchies showed their stripes. :k

So ends this inflammatory and highly unscientific poll.
