I love curry... trouble is, I can't eat it any more because I have a food allergy and the thing I'm allergic to is usually in the curry *sadness, general curry-less crying*

I pine from a distance and eat other spicey food. Occasionally I whip up a curry from scratch *very occasionally* then I can control what goes into it *hmmm, fancies a curry now*

I've just sat down on my pooter after having a curry dinner. Phall (variations in spelling, hotter than Vindaloo), mushroom rice and naan. Favourite food ever.
Can't stand Korma though, it just seems wrong.

What is curry?
Well succinctly put it is a generic term for the cuisine of the sub-continent, ie India, Pakistan and Banlagesh. It encompasses a vast variety of styles. The keynote is the use of spices in varying quantities. Some curries are scorchingly hot, others benignly mild.
I had a Vindaloo the other week but it was sweet. I couldn't be doing with that! I like a nice Balti or especially a spicy Jalfrezi. mmmmmmm!

Apparently Boy George and his band Culture Club quite liked a curry . . . their favourite was a 'Korma Chameleon'

Kim's never had Curry? We'll have to change that won't we?
I do like Curry, but given that over here we don't get to have "real" Curry often for lack of the restaurants, I'm not used to the very hot variety, wuss that I am.
And I'm still shocked at the fried budgies!

Curry, My mother make the Best in the whole of Scotland, and i've written down how she makes em
Seeing i am an "Subcontineter" i love the stuff, But Kormas i hate them, they taste kinda sweet and as many of you know, a curry is only good when it HOT.
i like curry better than Haggis, and "junk food"

As for comparing a curry to burger and fries, well I suppose you could liken a lightbulb to the moon but it'd be a poor comparison.
