Hey,
In case my name doesn;t give it away, It's Damo here...
Basically, certain people will be aware that I have applied for jobs in Gaming/Engineering...If I do not get either of those jobs, I thought I write here what sort of thing I am proficient in...
Basically, I am profficient in XHTML, CSS, MySQL and PHP to a certain extent, and over the next 2 years, hopefully, I will be able to write in these forms of code with no hinderense at all...
I am a designer at heart, having done several courses in design...and I enjoy the task of designing new and exciting things, just for the hell of it...
I am also well equipped for TL positions that require good communication and adinistrative skills...having been in St. John's Ambulance for 15 years...and having held such titles as "Cadet Demonstrator," (teaching position), and "County Cadet Leader," (Leadership postion), I am well aware of the qualities needed for a good, and well organized TL...not to blow my own trumpet...lol...

I do not mind occupying temproary positions for a time, while a more suitable candadate is found...
think of me as a "handyman" for hire...lol...

I'm only a member in the Guilds and Engineering, but I'm sure Engineering will accept you. We're definitely needing people there, and since your skills seriously outweigh mine, you'd be more than suitable.
Otherwise, I'd apply anywhere you'd feel that you could be beneficial. I'm sure there are departments out there that would be glad to have you.
Also, judging by your resumé, it just reminded me that I so forgot to put in my RL leadership skills... *lol*

I'm interested in a job.
Would have applied by normal means, but as part of the joke my rank is frozen at CL2 for the moment. Most online applications begin at CL3.
Skills you ask?
HTML, CSS, XML, PHP, Perl, some C++, some C#.
I was in Indev before the joke, and in Intel (later ISA).
I also ran the Trivia Network for a long time by myself.

greetings all:-)
currently, I work with the Lobrary doing various reviews of books I've read over the years. Been doing it off and on since I came here pretty much.
I thought I'd post myself here so that people can see me.
my handle is the Green Knight (CL4)
don't have any web design skills
Have proficiency in microsoft office, however.
I would very much like to join ISA if I could.
I have a lot of experience as a moderator at
another website. Was a moderator for a couple years
at least. Can't remember exactly, lol.
I was also an admin leader for a chat that gave people the chance to play Lord of the Rings TCG and Star Trek CCG online.
So even though I'm new here, I've been around a bit. :-)

As mentioned on the Updates Board earlier, Engineering's Design Team is hiring! If you match one of the following criteria, you should no longer hesitate and apply:
Needed:
Experience in graphic design and/ or web design (XHTML preferred for the latter, CSS is a must)
Willingness and ability to see a project through to completion
The ability to take someone's vision for a page, cultivate it through discussion, and make it a reality
Excellent teamwork and communication skills Ability and willingness to follow Engineering's design standards
If accepted, applicants will become the bread and butter of OTF's design force, responsible for creating new and exciting designs not only for Engineering's projects, but designs throughout the Outpost. If you are interested, apply here or contact me directly under aeon@outpost10f.com.

The Writers' Guild is full of creative folk but we're all lacking in the web design/maintenance department. We need someone who can maintain the WG website and update it regularly/give it a facelift whenever we feel like it.
If the job is for you then you'll know what skills are needed as I don't have a clue!!!!
