Hi there.

1. Sisko
2. Archer
3. Picard
4. kirk
5. janeway.

as I a voyager fan, this surprised me. But Janeway was too stubborn and stuck too close to Starfleet rules, for her own good. If I was  in the Delta Quadrent, I would use WHATEVER means I could to get home. I would take Chakotay's advice of adopting maquis tactics and I would not go off to study spacial anomalies, when I could be getting home. Dammit, as long as I got the crew home, I wouldn't care how many rules I broke, as long as they arrived in one piece.

GRRRRR Irritation!

That's my 360547 cents in, then.

Greetings I would like to now state my fav captains as staring roles in the series then state my other guest captains     1) Jean-Luc Picard   2) James Tiberius Kirk  3) Kathryn Janeway 4) Benjamin Sisko        now for my alternate choices:     1) Captain Spock 2) Captain Data (as seen in the episode Redemption - Part 2) 3) William Riker ( in Nemesis) 4) Captain Suloo 5) Captain Turell (of the U.S.S Reliant)      I picked Picard for his pure diplomacy and for him being a greatly developed and in my mind admarable character his love for music and liturature and ofcourse his very famous line "make it so" and that smile of pure reasurance   makes him a great captain and as Patrick Stewart said in his Nemesis interview "his crew are like his children they mean a great deal to him" and as I personally think they are also his old friends and his family as for Spock he is half Vulcan and is very logical in his diplomacy and his command or as I usually put it Spock was greatest first officer and in my mind the greatest charater in TOS so he is also the greatest non-staring captain ever as for James Tiberius Kirk he is a great character and that is represented in each star trek movie aswell as episode his lust for exploration and is pure passion for human integrity and the federation is wonderful aswell as his great enemys (Khan and the Klingons) light up each TOS film as for Data in his command to help stop the Duras family Rebellion against Gowrons council and the Rebelions alliance with the Romulans he commited a great act of heroism and disobeyed his captain (Picard) for the good of the star ship fleet and for the federation very human of him....... interesting aswell as his conflict with his first officer who was prejudging data due to him being a machine which created great conflict as data demanded authority also very interesting those are my pics live long and prosper friends *\V/*

I can't really rank in order who I like most of the captains although Janeway (naturally ) ranks lowest. Haven't seen enough of Enterprise to make up my mind, although from what I've heard the writers are rewriting the history of Starfleet and the Federation (although it doesn't exist yet). Probably would have to rate Kirk and Picard neck and neck.

Favorite Picard quote: " They invade our space, and we fall back! They assimilate worlds, and we fall back! The line must be drawn HERE! This far, no further!!!
