Sector defense work as follows....
If there are fighters present the only way past is to either fight them or claok past which is risky  If there are only mines present you only hit a percentage of them but i forget what that is so it is just best to buy more mine deflectors than there are mines. If a sector has both forms of Sector Defence then the fighters rule applies, you wont hit the mines even if you fight the fighters, but once the fighters are down you will hit the mines. Well unless you are under avg tech level 8 then you hit no mines at all!

So when you try to get in you have to go against ALL of the sector fighters---HOW can you possibly beat something like 20 million sector D on both and stuff?

if your cloaking is high enough you only have to worry about getting attacked 1 out of every 20 cloak attempts

Does anyone know why lvl 32 torpedoes with base(wich should give+1) do more damage than lvl 34 computer.

King Pin, I sugest that if you can't respond seriously to a real question you better leave this forum and let the people who realy know the game give me an answer.
Just admit it, you got lucky today and survived.
If there was nothing wrong you would be dead and forgotten by now.
By the way, you ain't cool, you're lame.
So your torps should do at least 3 times less damage.

I do have to admit here King Pin.
I posted as Giant..
But I have no idea who Giant is, and why his name apeared above my post.
Admins, I would like to hear what happend.
Does my IP-adres show up under Giants name?
Edit: I did check out who Giant is, and it apears he is my brother.
Butit should not be possible he get's into my computer.
But I do know how this has happend.
Last night I went to my parents home and I logged into the forum from there.
I gues I didn't look at who was registered.
So I posted under the wrong name.
I d not use multi accounts, although with this it might have looked that way.

except, if you remember, i didn't convince anyone anything. i even backed you on it (check back in the forums if you don't believe me). it was kyp that banned you (if memory serves me well), and i had little to do with it. so don't hold a grudge against me.

LOL kingpin, you wouldnt not of gone first with a mere 23 tril bank, when me and remulus were having a look at your bank you only had 48 tril. I had more than double that so you wouldnt of gone first by a long shot! and it wasnt 3 hours wasted cos atleast we scared you lol, especially after you told me i was lucky to survive your attack, no i just knew you were not gonna be able to take me there was no luck in it at all lol. As for remulus and this giant account, giant is battle master, i was talking to him about this ages ago seeing as his orinal account was barred from the game and it is quite easy to make this mistake if you have other relatives/siblings using the same computer... Anyways theres my input

Ever since my account was edited by Kyp without my permission or approval while working with xz, my race has changed from "Smuggler/Bounty Hunter" to "Smuggler/Bounty". This has caused my links to change from the normal green, to orange. Also, my score isn't tally'd in the race I should be in. So that will definately affect the Top Race Award. So if we actually plan on giving awards this round it would help to have my race set back to the way it should be.

anyone else having trouble with the sofa code. i still am, i think. if someone wants to give a detailed description of a sofa and the stats that should be used that would be great. heres what i know/do... (omiting a few certain tricks)
i know you need to have a higher computer lv. than that of the players planet your sofaing. lets say they have lv 29 torps, with a base thats 30 (i'm using this as a real example cause this is my problem). I updated to 31 (1+ there torp lv) and still recieved a message saying "there was a large explosion in the..." the one you get when your taking out the torps rather than fighters. so i updated to 32 comp and sofaed agian. this time i took out 2 mill fighters with the message "it looks like some of your fighters have made it through...". So i'm sending down 43 mill fighters with a lower score than the planet holder, and with 2 levels above there torp, and still only taking off a max of 2 mill. Is that right, at all, cause i'm getting this with everything i try to sofa.
i don't really know much anymore, this used to be easy for me. i remember hearing that you only send down 10% of your fighters if your score is too high or soemthing, to protect lower players. well, i'm much lower than this player and getting less than 10% of my fighters hitting. i'm not sure if i'm the only one, or if i'm doing anything wrong, but thats my prob.

Hey just an idea, do you think we could add like a thing where it makes adding SD's just like using a trade route so that you dont have to do it over and over again...Just an idea i would like it then again it might make SD's too strong but we'll see

Not that this matters this late in the round....however, i owuld like to say that the SOFA code is still horribly off.
I was attacking a planet that was 33 shields, 33 beams, and 37 torps. This said i attacked once the energy was at 0 and i am currently removing 1 fighter at a time from the planet any help would be nice.....i have stats in notepad from scans, and i have a couple of screen shots....
Put a reply on the forums and your email if you want the screens and stats

that's why you're only removing 1... you're Computer is supposed to be HIGHER than their torp for you to take off more fighters

Technical Problem
When I log into the game, the screen is blank, except the date and time and logo in the top corner.
I can view everyother page on Outpost10f.
I am missing some file or settings that need changing to view the game.
Any help would be great

I have a little money problem... I took a planet and took the money... and then... did some other... withdrawing of money from my bank .... I didn't know there was a cap on th monies on the ship becasue now I have a negative balance on my ship. I cannot upgrade my ship now to defend against retaliation from... person whom I took the planet from. help! (btw: I have not played in a while so these caps are really annoying; fix the code or don't let us get too rich! oi!

I have sent you a message in game, Can give you some money to fix yourself up. Otherwise you can also try doing a few trade routes. It worked for me when I had negatives on my ship. It may say you have more than 9 quint but the limit still applies.
