Okay... before BNT was launched here at the Outpost, I'd never heard of it.
During the previous 2 rounds I didn't get to play the full round due to circumstances.
This round I've been having loads of fun. Crashed 'n burned a few times, but hey..... that's the game.
One thing I have been wondering though, and I know this is just gonna show how ignorant I am, is wtf is a SOFA. What does it do? What's the difference with a normal planet attack? I've been looking around, even at other BNT places but I can't seem to find my answers.........
HELP! please.

JPicard: This round ends this coming Tuesday. Another round will start shortly after.
Richard: A SOFA is a Sub-Orbital Fighter Attack. This is the means by which you wear down the enemy's defences before you go in a full out assault.

ive got a bug. im on my home planet and i cant leave cuz it says that i am not in the sector so i can not interact with it. argg and i have to collect my cash cuz theres a bunch of it and i cant st and seeing it build up and not using it for a last hurrah

Go to your home sector throught the planets menu. There you can leave your home planet and move around again

 a bug bit me!
I scaned right before the count down went to 0, it was at 2 or something, and It put the number of turns left at -1. When it went back to 360 my turns left went to -3.. then next time it went back to 360 it put me at 3 turns left ... This seems odd... ... ...

yet another bite!
This one is weirder then the first. I went back to my trade route, I didn't have money but i had a load of cargo. I clicked on the trade route. It gave me a strange response, it seemed like it was trading as it was sposta but it said my money was -0 at the end. I have the screen shot below...
Anyways, that is what happened...
can i have bug spray now?

I've made a few changes to this to permit the message to stay for the sake of being dealt with. However, I ask that in the future, the exact details of a problem of this nature be sent to the BNT admin's via the Feedback link within the game. Another alternative is to email myself [shaker@outpost10f.com] or CL7 Dave [plugboy@outpost10f.com] with the problem, and we will see that it is fixed. Thank you.
Additionally, the player-in-question has been banned. I offer this player a chance to appeal this ban if they so choose.

Why is my score NAN when I log out? And why is it that my score decreased to 3745 points while my empire is rising? I have sent an email to plugboy, started a new topic on this subject and now posted another "outcry". Can someone please answer my question. BNT isn't really fun to play without points and ranks.

im on the bnt manu screen and it says there are 3 players in total which must mean a new game but when i go to log in it says game closed for tornament play please could u help me with this

Do you guys release the source code after a round is over?
My reason for asking is i had made some excel sheets to pre-calculate a few things...one thing i couldnt get right was the colonist reproduction rate and the intrest calculated on a planet while the colonists are reproducing.
In case your wondering i was really really bored...had used up all my turns and was sick of watching 3 turns accumulate every 6 minutes lol.

I was wondering how long it takes for our scores to go up after we buy stuff. Like, for example, I just upgraded my hull aobut 7 levels and my score hasn't gone up yet, though I got all the cash I spent back in fairly short order.

However, if you wish to speed up the process, you can log out of the game and log back in.

Thanks a lot. Looking back throught he forum I also have a few other questions/things that I would like explained please:
Plasma storm?! what is that, what does it do to me, how do I avoid it?
Space Plague/Horsemen of Apocalypse? ???? again, please explain.
Also, is it possible to increase the amount of energy gotten when using the fuel scoop by increasing engine level?
And one (for now) last thing. When I go to the nav computer and try to go somewhere it tells me my computer isn't powerful enough to figure a warp route there. This ocnfuses me as I thought computer was used to control the number of fighters I can have. Please explain.

Space Plague is were some of your colonist die off dont know what the other one is. i never heard of it.<br>to increase the amount of energy you pick up on each trade route you first off make it real space. and then up your power level. <br>and the Nav computer will find a warp route to a sector if it can find it from the sector you are in. for say you are in sector 0 and you want to get to sector 499 ( i know you can see it in the warp menu) you type 499 in the nav computer and it will tell you to click 499 in the warp menu. or for say you want to get to sector 25 and you are in sector 0. it will say something like this<br>"0>1>2>3>4>5>6>7>8>9>10>11>12>13>14>15>16>17>18>19>20>21>22>23>24>25 it will take 25 turns to do this."<br>and yes computer is for your fighters the higher you computer level is the more fighters you can hold.<br>if there is anything else just ask

I kept trying to attack this ship and it repeatdly came up with this ....
1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'Kar', '105', 'Mighty_Trader', '18', '15', '16', '15', '17', '17', '17', '16', '1' at line 32
then after about 20 tries i got into ship combat ... and BOTH ships where destroyed ... and reading through it .. it said the other ship had lost all its defences ... but it didnt say my ship had ... just a little confused there... because if my ship had not lost its defences it would not have been destroyed... but it was...
