Alexandre Dumas
Interestingly... his last work, "Le Chevalier de Sainte-Hermine" (The knight of Saint-Hermine) was unearthed a while back and is now being published this June. It was lost for over 135 years and is the last in his trilogy after "Les Compagnons de Jehu" (The Company of Jehu) and "Les Blancs et Les Bleus" (The Whites and The Blues).
He also wrote "The Three Musketeers" and "The Count of Monte Cristo".
