Hey guys! Yet another Poetry Guild game brought to you by the Poetry Guild! This one was brought to my attention by our very own Polgara while in the chat! This one will be a limerick contest! In case you're unaware, a limerick is typically a five line poem with a strict rhyme scheme and meter. Normally, the rhyme scheme is aabba, and every a line and b line have the same number of beats. Here's a very well-known example of a limerick...
There once was a man from Nantucket He kept all his cash in a bucket But his daugher, named Nan Ran away with a man And as for the bucket, Nantucket
This is only an example. But, if you do post one, please try to follow the rhyme scheme and meter. *nods* Also, follow the PD's. So, get limerick-ing! And again, thanks to Polgara for the suggestion! Also, if you're still not sure what a limerick is, please refer to this site for more information!
