To The Stars in The Sky
I sit alone,
And watch the stars.
As drifting through a dream.
Sitting in an old Oak tree,
I remember yellow ribbon around my waist.
Dreaming of a longing,
That is only but a dream.
Long past here,
And yet so close to home.
Fleeing the things I have done,
Running to the things I’ve yet to know.
Holding hands of the greater being.
I walk this ocean as if a dream,
Seeing only what is gone.
I hear what is to come,
I glide to a place that is yet to become.
Feeling only what is to be unknown,
Calling only what is to be loved.
Someone comes to a being,
Someone leaves one behind.
I fall alone.
In where I land,
Help is near, yet help is far.
Living one last breath,
Dying every first laugh.
No one comes home,
Everyone goes there.
Half willing to return,
Half willing to go on.
I sit alone.
With you in my head,
Thinking is unclear.
Daring me to jump,
To the stars in the sky.
Return now,
There is things still to do.
~This is some thing I wrote a long time ago, but I really love it and I wounder what you all would think of it so I'm posting it.
