Here is a challenge to all the admins out there who seemingly never check the forum. Are we going to get an update on when we can expect the game to reset? Rumours abound about when the game is starting over but not once have I seen an admin come on the forum and say the round will be reset ..........
So to all you admins, I challenge you to prove me wrong. Lets see a bit of communication here guys and girls. We have probably the best BNT server on the net and nobody seems to have a clue what is going on with it. I bet none of you can tell us when the round is going to be reset and my patience is at an end waiting. There have been no updates at all and quite honestly I expect to see the round start with no warning.
I would love for you to prove me wrong though, go on take the challenge !!

The Gaming Staff are VERY busy, and are understaffed at the moment, hence why they are requesting applicatents for the department.
They can only do one thing at a time, yes you want to get on with it and play it, but its not an easy task to reset the server, and it causes a lot of strain on OTF as a whole when the server IS reset.
Since they have to change the code back to the previous version, since this one worked out to be a mess, it will probabily be a while before they get everything done, and checked before they reset the server.
Please be patient. The BNT admins... ARNT ... gods ... yet.
When the opertunity arises for them to reset the server, it will be reset, otherwise patience should be asked of you.
Some people are in exams this time of year, and others are just getting back to school
Patience.

XZ - Thanks for the update. I can be a very patient person, and I understand that the server can take a while to reset and I realise that real life issues are far more important that BNT or OTF. These facts have never been in dispute. All I ask is for a little communication of these facts to us mere mortals who enjoy playing the game. It is incredibly frustrating to be waiting for the reset and not knowing when it will happen. All that I ask is for some formal communication from the admins to say what point they are at and how long they expect the game to take to be reset/ If it is a week or a month I dont realy care, all I would like is to be updated.
This server is easily the best BNT server I have played on the net but as far as communication goes it leaves a lot to be desired. the team have done a great job with the game and I am sure that will continue, but communication to the players is an important aspect that seems to be getting missed out.
I have had my chance to make my point and I hope that I have not offended anyone. This is not an attack at the admins, it is just my personal opinion on a small part of the overall good job that they do.

he wasn't asking them to hurry up and reset the server. he was just asking for any ideas on when they might actually do it. seemed like a simple question to me.

Hey,
To set the record straight: any rejection of an application to Entertainment is always followed up with a reason for the rejection.

A intervieuw has been taken by Krillen.
Then an e-mail was recieved that they are not accepting...
Then a questions is asked to both Krillen and BAM_BAM if they know the reason and none has the answer...

the reason for both of you is probably due to the fact that both of you are CL2's... that is the most logical reason for the rejection of you both...

well if you dont give us what is needed in the department than you wont be accepted... what si needed is hard workers, and people able to dedicate time and effort to the department... and you do need to be CL3 or else you cant even be added to the roster

was nice to finally hear an answer. Although the emails i received initally stating the fact i was cl2 was no problem?! but o well  got better things to be doing now

Hey,
Whitty, I specifically said that one must be a CL3 before joining. I did speak to the powers-that-be about appointing a CL2, but I was told they need to be CL3 before it could be taken further. I even have a copy of the email in my outbox, sent on the 19th December. If the message wasn't passed on to you, I apologise for that.
Alex, I have no recollection of you applying to the department. I only know of CL2 Whitty doing so.
However, if you have further complaints and questions feel free to email me and we can discuss it further. This is not the place for it.

i had signed up for a spot on the entertainment team. i was a CL3. and i am a webmaster/webdesigner with skills in perl and css. i know most is written in php but thats basically the same thing. i never heard a single response back. but if the team is full or has plenty of helpers then i understand. i would be willing to help bnt, but if i am on the admin side i wont be playing so it would be good to know if i am needed for help or not so that i can play when the round is reset.

As I said before, if you have any problems RE: applications to the ENT department, then email me. I'm more than happy to discuss any problems people may have and to resolve the problem. Please, this is not the correct place to hold such a discussion.
