First of all I'd like you to point out where exactly I blamed Julia Roberts in any way. Please go on...
The topic that you pointed out was that Julia Roberts was a classy woman, to which my reply was no she isn't. A classy woman would have waited until a marraige was over, before getting involved.
And as far as I know, to get a divorce in America, you simply have to go file for one and show up at court; and guess what... if the other person doesn't show up you still get divorced.
And symantecs of stealing away vs falling for a married man are rediculous because it just further proves my point that a woman of class would've kept her mouth shut until he was available. I mean if the marraige was so doomed as you say anyhow she surely wouldn't have to wait long for the courts to settle it, right?!
And as far as your artistic nude photos go, if you are of legal age to make a contract and sign a release contract, while in full control of your minds wit, then my dear you are to blame if said photos later become released on the internet.
Although I don't understand what this has to do with Julia Roberts as this is an apples to oranges argument. It also has no logic in that who said anyone has to be to "blame" for said photos. I don't understand where there was a wrong necessarily.
But this whole post is silly and moot as I never placed blame in any post against Mrs. Roberts. I never said it was her fault. Did I?
Hollywood is filled with spin-doctors, because you read it in print, doesn't make it true. Nick and Jessica were happy and not splitting up too.

I'm pretty sure Keira Knightly has no intention of stealing Julia Roberts from Danny Moder.

The bottom line is, as a man, it is my sworn and sole duty to protect you and take all blame to cover you from the evil of this world.

I called up one of my best friends last night. I haven't spoken to her in years. She was happily married to a very nice man, who also became one of my friends. I remember her telling me how he always wanted a baby and that she didn't. She wanted to wait until she was stable and all her ducks in a row. She wanted to be financially secure. She wanted a larger house...yadda yadda ya. She told me last night that she now has a 3-month-old son.

True. But, sometimes, it buys you some time when you're afraid of all the pressures that come along with such a life altering desicion.

Polson, is this your way of trying to ask me to marry you?
And as far as looking for an excuse not to engage. Well, if you have a pretty good single life that you enjoy and are pleased with, if you like your independence, it can be pretty daunting to give that away no matter how much you may love someone.
Life altering desicions are just that. You have to be a very strong person to be able to look at yourself in the mirror and say, "Ok, I'm ready to give all of this up and step into a new world where I'm starting over from scratch."

I'm not saying it isn't hard. I'm agreeing that it is. I'm just also saying that if you set markers...life has to be THIS WAY before I'll try something that hard, you'll be waiting forever and either you're living in denial, or you're using it as an excuse not to live life.

I think it was brought on by talk of babies and ducks...
But wherever it came from, it's making me feel a little better about life and recent decisions. Thank you, Kady and Pols.

Well, it seems like we've helped our first client. More specifically, I think you've helped our first client. It was your advice that followed my post. I didn't know that it was that deep. Actually, that's not entirely true, it had struck a chord in me, but I didn't realize it was going to launch our new careers as Counselling Booth Specialists!

I'm not sure it was so much advice as it was stating the not-so-obvious. *nods* We can state the not-so-obvious, certainly we're qualified for that. We can even state the obvious if need be.

I think I can handle stating the obvious! I'll try the not-so-obvious stuff but it just seems like it would be a little more difficult.

I've never claimed to be a Kelly Clarkson fan. But, I like to listen to music when I run and the last few days I've been playing Kelly Clarkson a lot during those runs. Isn't it funny how you can listen to a song and the artist can describe exactly how you feel or who you are without ever even knowing you? Is it simply because we all have the same basic needs, desires, and longings? Or are we all cosmically connected somehow? Whatever the answer may be, I'm posting more lyrics.
Artist: Kelly Clarkson Song: Miss Independent
(Verse 1) Miss independent Miss self-sufficient Miss keep your distance, mmmm
Miss unafraid Miss out of my way Miss don't let a man interfere, no
Miss on her own Miss almost grown Miss never let a man help her off her throne
So, by keeping her heart protected She'll never, ever feel rejected Little miss apprehensive Said ooh, she fell in love
(Chorus) What is this feeling taking over? Thinking no one could open the door Surprise, it's time, to feel what's real What happened to miss independent's no longer need to be defensive? Goodbye, old you, when love, is true
(Verse 2) Misguided heart Miss play it smart Miss if you wanna use that line, you better not start, no
But she miscalculated She didn't wanna end up jaded And this miss decided not to miss out on true love
So, by changing a misconception She went in a new direction And found inside, she felt a connection She fell in love
(Chorus) What is this feeling taking over? Thinking no one could open the door Surprise, it's time, to feel what's real What happened to miss independent's no longer need to be defensive? Goodbye, old you, when love, is true (when love, is true)
(Bridge) When miss independent walked away No time for love that came her way She looked in the mirror and thought today What happened to miss no longer afraid? It took some time for her to see How beautiful love could truly be No more talk of why can't that be me I'm so glad I've finally seen
(Chorus) What is this feeling taking over? Thinking no one could open the door Surprise, it's time, to feel what's real What happened to miss independent's no longer need to be defensive? Goodbye, old you, when love, is true (when love, is true)
Miss independent

I've another. I'd aplogize, but this is my thread, dedicated to posting anything that pops into my head, so I refuse to. Have a good day!
Artist: Kelly Clarkson Song: Since You've Been Gone
Here's the thing We started out friends It was cool, but it was all pretend Yeah, yeah, since you been gone You dedicated, you took the time Wasn't long, til I called you mine Yeah, yeah, since you been gone And all you'd ever hear me say Is how I pictured me with you That's all you'd ever hear me say
But since you been gone I can breathe for the first time I'm so moving on, yeah yeah Thanks to you now I get what I want Since you been gone
How can I put it, you put me on I even fell for that stupid love song Yeah, yeah, since you been gone How come I'd never hear you say I just wanna be with you Guess you never felt that way
But since you been gone I can breathe for the first time I'm so moving on, yeah yeah Thanks to you now I get what I want Since you been gone
You had your chance, you blew it Out of sight, out of mind Shut your mouth, I just can't take it Again and again and again and again
Since you been gone (since you been gone) I can breathe for the first time I'm so moving on, yeah yeah Thanks to you (thanks to you) Now I get, I get what I want I can breathe for the first time I'm so moving on, yeah yeah Thanks to you (thanks to you) Now I get (I get) You should know, that I get I get what I want
Since you been gone Since you been gone Since you been gone

Mmmmn...John Travolta. He and Olivia Newton John had a double dose of onset chemistry when filming this movie.
Let's see what I can find for you.....
Artist: Olivia Newton-John Lyrics Song: Hopelessly Devoted to You Lyrics
Guess mine is not the first heart broken, my eyes are not the first to cry I'm not the first to know, there's just no gettin' over you Hello, I'm just a fool who's willing to sit around and wait for you But baby can't you see, there's nothin' else for me to do I'm hopelessly devoted to you But now there's nowhere to hide, since you pushed my love aside I'm not in my head, hopelessly devoted to you Hopelessly devoted to you, hopelessly devoted to you My head is saying "fool, forget him", my heart is saying "don't let go" Hold on to the end, that's what I intend to do I'm hopelessly devoted to you But now there's nowhere to hide, since you pushed my love aside I'm not in my head, hopelessly devoted to you Hopelessly devoted to you, hopelessly devoted to you
