First of all I'd like to thank all the admin working on the problems that keep coming up. Its looking like a great round (although i'm not in my rightful place, 1st  :) ) even with the small code errors.

Okay, so, now onto the topic. I was thinking about some things that could simplify some of my woes. There just ideas and since the only code i know is html i don't really know how hard they'd be.

1. Map - Flags for the map, just a way to mark dangerous sectors or future intrest sectors... Better than paper or pencil or digging through your notes.

2. Planet Menu - When looking at planets it would be great if you could look at a certain amount or sectors. have an option so you can see if that sector is producing what you need. I.E. - You have some fighters in a sector and arn't sure if your planets are making enough energy, so you check off the sector's planets and thats all you see, with the totals at the bottum and everything.

3. Trade Control - For any of the planet routes i suggest automatic edit. Have a drop down box for the planet sectors so you don't have to constantly edit to trade to 20 different planets. (For those who use 1 route for all planets).

I don't want to get you guys flooded with ideas so i hope this doesn't become that kind of topic. I just wanted to add these little suggestions that shouldn't change gameplay, just simplify some work. I love the setup now and the game itself (hence the horrible addiction), just throwing out some things that i think would help the other horribly addicted players.

They are good ideas to be honest, though they would be tough to code in, and i think kyp is set on sorting out the militery side of things, i.e. putting in some form of DESTRUCTIVE WEAPON ... equiv to a nuke ... :k  ...

My idea's are ideas i would rarther deal with myself lmao... like theres one idea im gunan be working on soon enough, and thats to open up the BNN New's Studio, and get it some new staff... lmao ... i mean Add in new bits, so it reports say when a play hits 10 billion colonists and such, and like 100 planets and such, and also... this might be hard, but i havent looked at the news script yet, but woul also like to see if i could code in a new report for someone taking "Majour" Banks, i.e. banks with credits over 50 billion, 500 billion, and 5 trillian. lmao ... but gotta look at the script before could see how to code that in. Really i cant see much else that needs to be done to the game as such...

actually xz, your ideas are my ideas... that i suggested months ago.  lol  the news reports, they obviously fall short of their full potential, becoming almost useless after the first three weeks, this would be a very easy mod to make the news worthy later into the round.  i also suggested color coding the news items which wouldnt be hard.  i would search through the forum db to find the post where i suggested that but i dont waste my time with such things, thats more your style  :P

but yea, i have suggested many many ideas, some okay, some really good, some easy, some very complex... it doesnt matter, none of them got integrated.  and i doubt any will, so do yourselves a favor and dont waste your energy suggesting changes, they wont add anything, and when they do, it just causes more problems.  sorry but its true  :k

Ist idea about "flags"...this would and wouldn't be feasible for a couple of reasons.  First not feasible because there is no way for us to check all sectors at a glance.  It would require going through all the sector's as admin or webmaster.  And this would only be reliable for a short time as players are always building and protection new sectors.  It is feasible to add in AAT code that would show a sector you have already been to that is enemy territory to show with a red squared outline.  That I could add in.  But again that will always be changing as players are building new planets and sectors.  The other two ideas....might as well rewrite the entire BNT code to implement them at first thought but I can look for a workaround and see if we can add something similar in.

Personally i think that ideas 1 and 2 would be cool to have but would be useless(or haev limited use), however i strongly support idea 3.  I am always getting annoyed sitting in 0 for awhile changing that and then moving back to 0 and repeating that pattern all over again (i know it doesnt happen all the time but when you make 5-7 planets at a time it gets annoying)--I also think the news idea is great just too see what people are doing(*kingpin*)....but ya dont now how hard idea 3 would be to implement

xz you will definately get the broken record award for this round.

the BNT team has priorities, the bug fixes come first? oh my god, i never understood this until now.  the first 50 times the mods said it, i didnt understand, the 10 times this round you've said it in your wanna-be-mod tone, i didn't get it, but this last time, i finally understand!!!

i HAVE seen the bnt scripts, so i do know WHY things dont get added in.  the point of my post was to say that things just wont end up getting added in so its best he not get his hopes up.  but you saw this as a chance to change into your superhero ModMan costume and play pretend.  lol
