Don't know if everyone knows yet, but ABC cancelled Invasion, so there isn't going to be a second season. 
Even though ABC cancelled Invasion, the fans haven't given up all hope of a second season.
There is a letter writing campaign to ask the Sci-Fi Channel to pick up Invasion. Sci-Fi picked up Stargate SG-1 when it was cancelled by Showtime several years back, so we know Sci-Fi is not opposed to picking up series cancelled by other networks.
There is also a strong rumor going around that Sci-Fi is going to be airing the first season of Invasion "to see how it does" over the summer. If it does well, Sci-Fi could potentially give Invasion another season. (This is where the letter writing campaign comes in...) We need to let Sci-Fi know that we are still interested in Invasion, and that we want to see a second season.

Now, I know that most people shy away from sending an actual letter, but it only costs 39 cents for a stamp, and just a couple minutes of your time to write the letter. If you like Invasion, and want to see the story continue, please write to the Sci-Fi Channel and tell them!
Keep in mind that regular old-fashioned "snail mail" letters have alot more impact on TV networks than just an email or online petition. But if you can't or won't send a regular letter, then please do send an email and/or sign the petition!
