EA Sports 2006 World Cup
Anybody playing this game? It's number 1 on the charts on every platform its out on here in the UK.
I've not played a football game since Superstar Soccer on the SNES. So i was really quite excited about pitting my wits against a state of the art footy game.
Is it me though, or is this game incredibly easy? If you know me you'll know i'm not boasting, i am a huge gaming fan, but modern games i am actualy good at are pretty few and far between. I admit that freely.
First off i chose England. I got beat first time out. But, by the following day and after just a few hours of play i won the World Cup. I thought maybe i should chose a team lower in the world rankings. So i chose Jadz's home nation, Hungary. Won the world cup, beat Brazil 5-0 along the way too. Then i chose those giants of world football Tahiti! Won the World Cup just as easy as if i were Brazil. This is when i decided this game is just too easy.
I can assure you, none of this is down to me being good. I'm not, i promise. It's a great looking game. Great game play, well thought out controls. It's a good one to have when friends come around for the multi player features. But, it gets very boring, very quickly playing against the computer.
