So, as I've been reading and hearing reviews about this summer's group of blockbuster hits, what I keep hearing is that these movies are all about special effects, and there's no real plot or storyline. In this age of digital-everything, how much of our movies are real and how much are artificial? And, where's the characters, the stories?

I even saw side-by-side pictures in a magazine from two different movies of a car being flipped over or something, and they looked almost exactly the same just with a different background!

What do YOU think about the movies this year??

X-Men 3 was pretty good and made alot of money. I think Pirates 2 will break alot of records and with that said alot of these movies are spectacle type films and people know that going in.

M.Night is coming back in July with a new twisted movie. Lady in the Water. I wanna see it. I'm a fan!
I think it's a little weird however that Bryce Howard is starring lead again. She was the blind girl in The Village...can't he find another lead, that wasn't in his most recent movie...

None the less...I'ma go see it!! :)

>>I heard XMEN sucked the third time around. I haven't seen it yet. Did you see it?

>>>> Pirates will be cool too.

Doesn't it seem like this summer is lacking in movie choices? Where's the Blockbuster?? If anyone says Superman, I'm going to have to smack them *L*

But But But...Superman, has got to be the single most overdone movie of all time!! How many times can we continue to beat the same dead horse? I want something new, something different!! *smacks Matt only cause he'll like it, and avoids smacking Dawn cause she's .......well she's Dawn* :D

Yeah, I just today saw the preview for Ghost Rider..I have to say...I don't know. It definately looks freaky. Why are they showing previews all ready when it's not due out until Feb. 07. Weird movie people!

What's Clerks 2?? Snakes on a plane? I don't even know what it is your speaking of :P

Btw, I saw XMen today (which is where I saw the Ghost Rider preview) it was.......OK. I didn't hate it, nor did I particularly care for it.

I wanna see Lake House even if it continues to get bad reviews.
