I'm joking. This really isn't another rant. I know, I know, you're always looking forward to my next rant. I don't blame you. Find me in chat sometime and I'll direct you to my Myspace page. You'll get plenty of rants there. 
But really, I just wanted to say "what up?" to the OTF community. How's the summer goin'? You doin' alright? Watching England totally dominate the World Cup? and by Dominate, I do mean "barely squeak by with a win here and a win there". But, is anyone going to care when England squeaks by with a win over Germany in the World Cup final? I didn't think so.
So yeah, what's the summer plans? I know we're already half way through it, so what have you done thus far? What are you going to do? I've been waiting tables again at Outback Steakhouse here in Baytown. With the World Cup on, I've been spending a lot of my time in the mornings in front of the TV. For every England match, I make my way into Houston to the "Red Lion Pub" and enjoy fish and chips and Guinness for two solid hours of Football...or Soccer...whatever.
Talk to me. Or us. Just post something, gosh.

I want to go to a game with Keith. Instead I sit at home with my crazy father who really doesn't know much about the game except that when the ball goes in the net, it's a goal (I'm KIDDING! ).
I don't even know where in Toronto I could go see the game in a pub..

You could skip down the road to London. I know this Aussie bloke there who gathers what seems like half the Australians in Ontario whenever the Socceroos are playing a game. He even makes bars put the game on big screen televisions at like 2PM in the afternoon..

.....I thought all good bars put important games on the tv during the afternoon....
If they didn't play hockey, they'd get no one out during playoffs...
On the other hand, the closest thing I've ever been in to a real bar is an irish pub allowing minors on 10th street in Vancouver that had very good fries.

Wow, Lee, I know more than you? I mean, at least my father and I are learning. I think he knows more than he lets on *l*
I think we're going to find a pub for the England game, go watch it there. So what if it's Canada Day, those are every year. It's only once in a lifetime you can see England crush Portugal

On behalf of Keith, I thought I'd post a rant.
I hate slot machines. They steal all your money. =-( I played and won $40.00 tonight, then refused to cash my tickets in then, and wound up playing until I lost it all and then another additional $10.00. I left the casino poorer than I went in.
I hereby decree that everyone ban casinos until further notice!! 
I wonder if I'll get out of work early enough tomorrow night to drive over and gamble the tips I make.

BTW the next englishman who tries to say that Switzerland were boring better take a close look at his own teams performances first. Hypocrisy is a very bad thing.

I pity England, because they held the title of "worst penalty shooters" for thirty years, and it took Switzerland just one game to deprive them of it. Poor Brits.

Tonight I ate apple chimicheescake and shrimp and steak skewers from Applebees, and I ordered a tango chicken sandwich which I brought home. I ate too much.

To be fair to England and Switzerland you've not seen a country that's really inept at penaties till you've seen Italy.
