At last, Jayne! A less fleeting meeting than me dashing past you as a Tube station frowning thinking 'Is that REALLY Jayne?'

Hmm... i'm trying to save money at the moment and failing miserably hence my not heading to Chesterfield. But, maybe i'll be able to do London, no promises... i really need to go to a union sometime *lol*
But really, i don't think Babel could cope with me.

I shall try to come! Though I am in Amsterdam around 20th-25th October.. ish.. though that is very much an approximation. I'll definitely try to be there if it fits with my calendar, which I will check! ... Soon!

Sounds intersting, canīt promise till I know a date. And when I know where I'll be working around that date. But will be keeping an eye on the forum.
October 6th is out for me for either traveling day or union day. Would like to be home on my b'day.

I may well stop by on one of the days, y'know... entertain you all with my singing, drink a few of you under the table.
*is nudged. has something to do with family friendly activities whispered in ear*
I mean, we shall sing songs and hold hands whilst picking flowers and making daisy chains, yes, daisy chains...

Had a few thoughts re. activities:
the Union itself is due for saturday and sunday but for those of you who want to arrive friday evening I cordially invite you to my local for the legendary karaoke. Not to be mised!
Saturday, we could pick a tourist attraction to do, like the Tower of London or so forth. Nearer the time I'll put a list of alternatives up and we can go with the most popular one.
For saturday evening we could possibly go to Jongleurs comedy club in Camden Lock - there are top-quality stand up comics there (often they've been on TV an so forth.) It's a good evening.
Sunday, maybe we leave open so we can just do what we please.
Does this sound good?

Sounds good to me, I can highly recommend the Tower. And if anyone does want to go on the Friday, I can always collect people from around London and deliver them to the Vic since Jeremy is working?

It's no secret that I've been meaning to make it across the pond for the past couple years now, however the October date makes it impossible for me to attend due to classes. Next time, to be sure! I expect everyone in attendance to have a beer for me. ;o)
