I have a question for y'all.
I have a heavy cold, but although it's slowly getting better, I am still not allowed to leave the house (doctor's orders), and I'm supposed to spend most of my time in bed.
I've read until my eyes were watering, there's nothing on TV, I'm in no mind to watch videos, and I'm not supposed to be at the computer a lot, so no games or chats.
And I'm bored.

Do you have any suggestions for me?

Write!  Write a song, write a poem, and write on every thread OTF has to offer!

Knit, crochet, learn how to cook new dishes!

Organize your closet!

Organize your kitchen!

Count how many pairs of shoes you have.

Count how many CDs and DVDs you have.

Pick out new wallpaper patterns and paint schemes!

Visit Ikea online.

Look through catalogues and create a wish list.

Find a new more innovative way to budget your expenses.

Write a 2000 word essay on how you love Dmitri and it must start -

"I loveth Dmitri because..." and naturally you continue from there.

crossword puzzles and word searches are always fun!

Grab a notebook and draw a  picture...it's not just for little kids anymore! :D

make a collage with assorted bubble gum and candy wrappers.

start a rubber band ball and see how large you can get it.

Organize those  DVDs and CDs in alphabetical order. :?

do the same with you books!

Write snail mail letters to you friends and family.

:? Balco stole mine.  I was going to say Lego never fails.

I'm a fan of playing complex games by myself.  I'll play LOTR risk with myself for hours.  It's always a good time because no matter what, I win.

Make a Christmas list and mail it to everyone you know!

You could call me.  I'm entertaining.

Read the Blue Report!

Make mix CD's for your friends with weird songs on them like "C is for Cookie" and "Numa Numa".

Get a whole bunch of second hand magazines, cut out the pictures and paste them into a blank notebook, then get quotes about friendship and write them in with each picture and then give the book to someone you love.  I recieved such a book from Sonja one year for my brithday and I loved it so much, we made one for our friend Josy and shhhh, I'm making one for Sonja and she has no idea.  They're fabulous.

Or you know, you could write that essay about Dmitri.  However, it would be even BETTER if it was about Dmitri's relationship with Mr. Darcy and it would be the BEST if it was all about me.

Play Tetris!!  OR any other video games, but mostly Tetris!

My former 12-year-old "son" (actually, he was the kid where I worked and even though he was 12 he was the height and size of a 6 year old, but he had he mouth of a sailor on him)......found my weakness.  Whenever I harped too much on his behaviors and chores and homework, he'd hand over his gameboy with Tetris loaded in it.  I'd sit down and shut up and he'd whisper to the other kids, "I found Ms. Melissa's weakness. ;)" Bleh....

Color in a coloring book.  That's very relaxing.  And you can use other medium besides just crayons....be adventurous!
