I just sling myself in and talk to anyone, does that make me odd?

I am who I am, it's taken me far too long to feel anywhere near comfortable with who I am that I aren't going to change just to get myself accepted into a perceived clique. I get on with some people on here more then I do others, such is life. Doesn't stop me getting on with and holding conversations with others. Yes, I'm sometimes ignored, but I expect that when I sneak in chat and just sit there lurking. I've found if you make the effort to talk to people, regardless of them belonging to a particular 'clique' then they will talk to you back, even if it is just social chit-chat.

Was that anything to do with the original point? I haven't been up long and am half-asleep  :v

This free flow of opinions and points of view is healthy and I am encouraged to see people taking part. I am however going to find a corner to cry in since I'm the odd ball out. :)

Polson, you've pretty much hit the nail on the head. Again. Respect, girl!

I swear, sometimes I think you must live in my head, or I in yours. :(

Steve, awww... I'll come and talk to ya. :)

I'll take a turn! I'm evil and exclude people. Don't be like me.

Been feeling a bit emo lately anyway.

There's just one thing I'd like to add- maybe some people are taking things more seriously than what they are. I know for me I'm usually in OTF when I'm bored, exhausted after school, or generally taking a break from doing work. That means half the time I'm quiet, a bit offbeat and generally trippy. So if I ever seem like I'm ignoring a certain person or group of people it really isn't- I'm most likely sitting in front of my computer staring at a stats assignment and swearing loudly not deliberately trying to exclude anyone.

And I'm sure that that goes for a lot of people too. Maybe people think there are cliques because they feel neglected or excluded when really, the other person has half a million things going and they're only talking to their "clique" because those are the only people going poke, poke, talk to me~!

At the end of the day we all joined OTF to meet people not to reenact high school. Think of it that way. :) And if this is about higherups and lowerups or goodness knows what else, well dude, just get involved. Push yourself out there. It's a website not the gestapo, I definitely promise that if you start nagging people about how you want to do this this and this they'll let you do it if only to stop getting spam.. :D (PS, email brady NOT me!!!;)
