A sheep yesterday

It has come to my attention that certain members of our community have been treating our woolly friends very poorly indeed. :o I would like to remind those people that sheeps have given us:

Wool, to roll into balls for cats to play with

Mutton, for making into vindaloo

The internet

So let's see some ovine appreciation for a change!  :D

And remember: sheeps have feelings too!

Thats not a sheep, thats a picture of a cow, a bovine, not an ovine.

Secondly, the hot treads bit on the main otf page read

True Southerners
Sheeps have feelings too...

Which made me laugh.

Normally i'd make a comment with regards to the Welsh right about now, though i fear it is not appropriate. Jeremy knows what i am on about.  :(

The plural of sheep is sheep.

:(

Captain Aeon Obvious

P.S. Added the birthday cake purposely, just to make this all even weirder.

I always make sure I show the sheep my appreciation by sending them a thank you card. :)

1) This is my thread so I make-a da rules-a

2) It is a picture of a sheep. Okay, it may look like a cow, but I assure you it is a sheep. In fancy dress.

3) For the purposes of this thread, the plural of sheep is indeed sheeps. It is grammatically incorrect but it makes me laugh. And that is all there is to it!

4) Pat, our woollly friends sent you an appreciation card, to. It just got lost in the post. :(

I'll only say this once more, it didn't want to bloody talk! If it didn't want to talk it wasn't likely to tell me it's name! And I don't take sheeps I don't know by name to dinner  :o

Anyway babel, you only have FM's word for it that I traumatised it  :(

I heard that the singular of sheeps is shoop.
On the other hand, I also heard that the plural of cow is coo.
Never mind, I'll just cross the road to have me some chickenses.
