Kids WB! has announced that a new animated show titled Spider Riders will debut on Saturday, January 20, 2007, at 11:00 AM. The show focuses on 11-year old Hunter Steele, a transplant to the underground world of Arachna, where knights mounted on giant spiders do battle with the Invectids, a giant insectoid race determined to exterminate all human life. The show is also a tie-in to a multi-player online game located at www.spiderriders.com
Dierna note: The premise may be odd but it looks like it'll be an interesting show...the theme song is catchy..reminiscent of Dinosausers or Transformers G1...and well the MMORPG is a plus.
