OTF is very quiet during GMT daytime...

it used to be very busy...

any reason why this has changed?

I sleep during the day.

Sunlight causes me to spontaneously combust.

QD.

Failing that, people work/school/left. :(

Idunno, maybe the kids that used to hang around in the chats all day finally realised they needed to get a job,

OTF, in my experience, has always been quiet in the day in the UK.

Um...during the day I'm at work.  Except I'm on a different time zone than GMT, aren't I?  Yes.  I'm seven hours back.  Okay so GMT daytime tends to be early morning time for me.  Not really a high "surf the web" time for me.  I tend to do most of my chatting around 15:00 GMT ish, or after work, about 01:00 GMT ish.  My work schedual runs 10-6, 12-8 or 1-9.  Daytime playtime doesn't exist for the ol' workin' girl here.  Unless you can change people's work hours, you can't really get them into chat during those "dead" times.

usually, and this was true at the other place I went to...the chats would be quiet during the day, could have people in the early mornings (EST) and the after 5 p.m. (est)..

I live in the UK.

However, i've been living my life on Australian time for the last couple of months. For the duration of the England Cricket tour ( God only knows why? Oh yes, i'm loyal, even to a losing side. Unlike our opponents supporters. :P )

We did win a match tho! or should i say, Freddie did.

I think a lot of it also has to do with School starting back up. People are either in school, working or attending college and therefor swamped with stuff to do. I myself generally come on anymore either when i'm tired of working on homework or i have it done. Or if i don't have any homework to do.
