What on earth is wrong with me? Why do I love this show so much and why did I choose to lay curled up in a blanket tonight and watch the most horrid 2 hours ever put on TV. The Seattle auditions will go down in history as quite possibly the worse singers ever.
Surely they weren't all that bad?
Now I have that stupid song stuck in my head "Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me"........
Well till next week. Here's hoping the actual real Hollywood shows get better....
Oh on a side note, a girl I worked with has made it to Hollywood, once she appears on TV, I'll let ya'll know her name...I'm supposed to keep it secret for now *L*

I'm in the middle of watching the Seattle auditions right now and it's making Canadian Idol look good, which is really really really hard to do. Holy Hannah. I am in awe of the things people will do for fifteen minutes of fame and how angry they get when they're told straight! Wow.
In Canadian Idol they don't make fun of the bad talent as much as American Idol, which makes the auditions rather boring to watch. But wow. I'm stunned.

I only really like to watch the auditions, then I get bored, tape it and skim.
Much better than the UK versions of anything Cowell-ish, though.

Darlings, if you want to watch something really crappy, then I can warmly recommend the German version of it. Not only that it's got a unique name (Germany Searches For The Superstar), no... it's got something worse than Simon Fuller... Mr. Dieter Bohlen, responsible for... 'fascinating' videos like this: Click me!

*giggles* i admit..I love this show too...
and it's not just cause of Simon.. and I still wish they would show the little guy that sung "Like a Virgin" from the first season, I think it was... He cracks me up

I usually don't watch after the auditions, I'll tune in sometime during the top ten.
It's amazing how many people pick the exact same song to sing...and the funny thing is sometimes you can't even tell it's a song you know. I'm sorry, but if you're tone deaf and you went on that show, wouldn't someone who knows you say something? "Uh, by the way buddy, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but it's me or Simon Cowell, you are completely tone deaf."
My cousin Clinton wants on that show so he can walk into the audition, shake Simon Cowell's hand and say "That's all I came here for. Thank you for telling these people they can't sing." And turn around and leave.
