British actress Michelle Ryan has landed the title role on NBC's drama pilot "The Bionic Woman," a re-imagination of the 1970s series that starred Lindsay Wagner
Ryan, best known for her five-year turn on the popular BBC soap "EastEnders," will play a bright woman who is transformed into a technological wonder with $50 million worth of bionic components implanted in her body.

Harry Hill will have a field day with that!
That's the only time i see Eastenders. When Harry is pulling it apart.*L*
That is the worst bit of casting in history!
If they bring back the 6 million dollar man who they going to give that too? Lofty?

Aeon - hair colour isn't a problem now a days - a bottle of dye will fix that.
No idea who this women is. Anth was saying last night about her. So googled her this morning. Hmm.. As I don't watch any soaps I can't comment on her skills. Even with blond hair she is no Bionic women..my vote would have been Hayden Panettiere.

I second what the doll said. She MUST have an American accent, and she also MUST be blond. Not fake-ish-ly dyed or whatthehecknot. Naturally blond. Like me. Or Chrissy. And all the other true ladies here. Everything else... would be just wrong.

Okay, okay, I'm all for not liking the actress (because I don't) but, why must she be American? And second, hello? People can put on accents y'know

Yeah. We can all do American accents. But they can't do British!
Watch Mary Poppins if you don't believe me.
But, no way can she have a Brit accent. Because we all know only evil people on TV and film in the U.S have British accents! The Empire in Star Wars, and Sith are brits. That Ori bloke aswell ( he was a bad man in 24 aswell! ) .
Harry Dresden, he's English, he played a nasty man in 24, but had to put on an American accent to be a nice Wizrd in the Dresden files!
