Quite, although that has nothing to do with no work getting done to get OTF going again, so....

like i said im on strike from doing any coding. and for those whos asked, my responce is im putting as much effort in as i can see comming out. However im still supporting my people who are trying to work hard under the difficult circumstances.
Though ive just added Hal now on my msn, however I dont want to be "that annoying guy" ....... again!
Bah they need to shove me in indev and give me root access, then things would speed up significantly. Its impossible to build somthing to just instantly work with otf, without seeing the code. Thats why indev is there, however i assume its innactive?
Im not kicking up a fuss as much though As i am aware some are going through very important times in there respective positions and thus dont have the time to dedicate to otf, however in that case personalyly id would like to think temporary step-ins would have been iniciated to keep things ticking over. blah
Now ya got me ranting.

I should add.
Its very hard to motivate so few people who are active. and its made significantly harder by the lack of input from above. Actually the lack of anything really. Do they visit the site anymore?
For instance Ive personally put over 250 hours into a significant project (active otf'ers should love it). Somthing that was asked for. Now thats effectivly finished from my perspective, and now im just getting no reponse on it. That was nearly over a month ago. In fact ive had no responce left right or center. Good way to motivate.
Silence drives me insaine.
Now I am ranting.

I think BP's got a better shot of cleaning up their mess in the Gulf of Mexico than OTF has of rising from the dead.

we're not dead as such. part of the problems atm is people in certain positions dont have the right tools to do the jobs they should be doing and thus everything is being held up.

I love some of the negativity in here.
Trivia will proceed as best as it can, but me and Richard are going to be restructuring things. Please bear with us. The Trivia Team is not quite dead. The rumors of its demise is greatly exaggerated.

And just to add, I have followed up on emails requested by David and have received zero response. We have been told that things "look good" and thats about it.

The problem was simply that there are some things being discussed for implementation right now that had potential real world legal ramifications that had to be worked out before we could implement them. I read everything that comes through my inbox and frequent the forums and am aware of what's being said, but in also the the one person at the site who can't treat the place like a magic Internet starship since I have to consider potential risks that could see the site disappear overnight due to something like a takedown notice.
Most of you in this thread have e-mail now that some of those real world issues have been worked through.
