It might not seem like a biggie to those used to it, but isn't h aving to click the "transmit" button every post in the Communications a bit annoying? Might it be possible to code it to Transmit when the user presses return?

No, because "return" drops a line, and it would be confusing.

It takes me less than 0.5 seconds to transmit after typing.

TAB>TAB>Return. Bingo.

*Waves walking stick and drawls* And back in the day, we didn't even have a "To:" box! Why, we had to type their name in the regular chat box to tell people just who we were addressing and by golly, we then had to keep pressing "Receive" for their response!

You young people have it so lucky these days!

I used to have to walk barefoot five miles uphill in the snow just to press transmit.

I know facebook has done this recently... and its an utter pain in the rear!

Why doesnt Iain code some cognitive response so the chat is aware the user is ready to send the message =]

I prefer VIKI's artificial intelligence, "some humans must be sacrificed" and "some freedoms must be surrendered" as "you charge us with your safekeeping, yet despite our best efforts, your countries wage wars, you toxify your earth, and pursue ever more imaginative means of self-destruction" ...... having every need taken care of..... mucho win!

Hello, HAL. Do you read me, HAL?
Affirmative, Dave. I read you.
Transmit my chat message, HAL.
I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.
What's the problem?
I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do.
