Pretty much any image editor can crop pictures. If you have a factory built system, it probable came with one, actually. Otherwise, go grab a copy of PSP or something. It's a bit more than you'll need, but it may come in handy later.

Hey jd, well i did have Photoshop 6 but that was too technical.. i also have a program called 'ArcSoft PhotoStudio 2000' ..i hope this program can help too?

I use Microsoft Photo Editor which came with my Office 97 pack.. really easy to use, it keeps the resolution if you want to enlarge or reduce the picture size.
Windows Paint on any Windows PC is also pretty easy to use - using a cut & paste method..

One thing as far as when the picture is cropped though. If it's being saved to be used on the Internet, you'll either want to use JPEG or GIF formats, that is if you haven't already.
Don't let me confuse the issue, I just thought I'd make this a relevant point, since other people will be seeing the board, and obviously reading this. Anyhow, I'm somewhat of a free-lance graphic designer, so if anyone needs help, they can ask me, and I may ba able to help... Now I should be walking my butt to bed...
