My family will be traveling to Idaho to spend Christmas Eve with my hubby very large family.

All the young grandkids make a Christmas project with their grandmother.

Meantime games of air hockey, soccor, darts, Xbox and board games are being played by the teens.

We have a huge feast, all of us bringing a dish, and we stuff ourselves.

Each person reads a part of the story of the birth of Christ as the grandkids all place each peice of the story on cue.

Then we let the little ones open their gifts, then the adults do their exchange.

This year we will be doing a special tribute to Great Grandma who passed away this year. Her laughter and beautiful smile will be greatly missed.

First off, I am German and I live in Canada. My family does the same thing every year. For Christmas Eve, which is my official Christmas, my older sister and I go with my younger sister and her family, to her in-laws. Her husbands sister with husband, and 93 yr old Grandmother is also always there. They are Italian. At my sisters in-laws we do Kris Kringle. Then we all go back to my sisters.

Then on Christmas Day, my older sister and I are at my younger sisters, and we open gifts with her kids. My sister has 2 kids. A boy 5 months, and a girl 2yr 5 months. At my sisters, we also do stocking stuffers. Then we also open up the Christmas Cards from my mother, with all our Christmas cheques in it. My mother is always in Florida for the winter season. I will be having lots of good food all Christmas, like we do every year. Then on t he 26th, my older sister and I go home.

*l* Hey, I'm German too...but I live in Ireland. I'm going to Germany this winter, "same procedure as every year"...we're going skiing...in Bavaria...even though I'm not sure whether I'm allowed to count that as Germany :D (I'd kinda petitioned to go to northern Germany instead... ;) But that was rejected fairly quickly )

So anyway, I'll be gone for about 3 weeks, will miss all of ye's... :( Well nearly all, anyway :k

Okay,

I am driving to Xian the 22nd, then 23rd catching a plane to kunming and on to Bangkok. I am waiting there till midnight and hopping on a plane to London.

Then hopefully my brother will pick me up at the airport drive me to my sisters house where I will wait for my mum to turn up and give her hopefully one very big suprise!:D

She thinks that my sister and I are setting up net meeting so we can talk via the net Christmas Eve.

So yes it is kind of home with the family, but I don't get to spend every christmas at home.

It means to that I get to See ROTK on the big screen!!

First I should make some cards and stuff... then...

I'm going home to the lower mainland for Christmas! I am not so sure what all the plans are yet. I know I will be going to an office party then getting a tooth extracted then feeling weird 'cause of the hole in my mouth! I also have some shopping to do (bleh). I will probably spend Christmas Eve with Mom's family and Christmas Day with Dad's family. Then I get to hang out for a few more weeks before school starts!

Love,
Tanya

I got a TMNT fleece jacket(also available for $3.00 more in Wal-Mart), Rolling backpack(for trips and stuff....a heck of alot cheaper then Amazon.com's price! Sheesh! ), and ST: Nemesis Picard(DUDE!! Only $4.00!!! )...

Picard is now standing on my computer desk amid my TMNT, Star Trek, and WWE action figures...*L* He's standing next to Captain Archer.

Since I requested this poll, I might as well respond to it!

Last night, I had Marquis Rex over to the house. He was a nice fellow who didn't mind a bit that I cooked dinner. We had yellow squash caserole and new potatoes, by the way. He and I watched a few Star Trek videos and laughed quite a bit at each other's jokes. I hope he'll come over again someday.

Today, I haven't done anything. My mother went to work early in the morning, and was home by about eleven. We opened the few presents we had and that was that. As I write this, I'm waiting for my brother and his family to arrive. He's opted to go to his wife's family instead of his own for the past few years. We have a bunch of presents waiting for he and his wife and his daughter.

That's about the jist of it.

Robert Griffith
