Before my computer went for repairs I could access my compuserve ourworld webpage easily. Since it's returned it insists I need the latest version of java virtual machine, which also tells me I need microsoft virtual machine.

I have no idea what they're talking about.

My computer is supposed to be up to date and run winodws xp.

Because of this I can't edit my webpage. Someone help, please, before I get an ulcer :(

Hey hey hey

I really can't go into much detail into Microsoft Virtual Machine etc due to me not knowing much about.

I'm hoping if you, do webpages then you know what Java is. Anyways, Virtual Machine is a Rip-off of the Java coding (like a programme the best way to look at it) but Sun, maker of Java took Microsoft to court and now Virtual Machine is being wiped out you will have to go to the java site and download the programme.

Hope that helps but it may not....

I thought you could still download MS's VM until 2004.  Unless that was for securtiy patches.  I remember reading something about it. and that it was still available and consumers had the choice of downloading for a while and then had to switch or stick with whatever they had.
