In the near future, Engineering will be leading live in-chat tutorials on various aspects of web design.
What would you be most interested in learning?
Edit: We're going to do all of it eventually, so "all of the above" is not an option. Shame on you all! =P

PHP - Know it mySQL - kow it(in relation to php).
Graphic design, I could allways learn more
XML would be nice, I'm tinkering with it a lot right now.
I'm assuming these will be beginner tutorials? or will it be more advanced tutorials?

Im interested in learning the more advanced html like tables/frames/forms that sort of things i mean i have a general grasp of tables i think but i could always use help
I would also like to better learn graphics. I am good at some of it but still having trouble with the merging of backgrounds that people do (using 2 or more pictures) and other things.

I'd vote for pretty much all of it... I can do some HTML, but when it comes to the other stuff, I could really use help, especially Javascript and CSS.

I have HTML, Javascript, and a few others down.
I wouldn't mind CSS and XML toutorials.
I'd say PHP and mySQL, but I know they are exteremtly hard to learn, and probably would just confuse a lot of people (including myself ).

Hey there,
I put down 'Multiple Topics' in answer of this Poll, the reason I did this was because the list given in the poll wasn't long enough. (Sorry Eagle =P)
Here is what I would like tutorials to be about:
HTML XHTML XML CSS FTP Graphic Design ~ Possibly with Photoshop Java C++ Basic SQL MySQL Basic Visual Basic Visual Basic.NET
Uhm, I think that's what I had on my list when I first saw this poll. Now I know Eagle has told me that a few of these we couldn't do, but they are essential, think about it dude. =P
What does the rest of the members think about my list? Any comments like, "What's this?" ...If so, reply here. And like I said Eagle, think about it. =P

Nice to see so many interesting responses!
There seems to be enough people interested in a few PHP courses, so you can count on one of those somewhere down the line. Along with that will be taught a smattering of basic SQL queries (select X from Y order by Z;). Right now, there are no plans to go any further in depth than that--database admin setup and admin aren't something you can learn on two or three hours on a Saturday. *l* Then again, if enough people want it in the future, who knows.
I can tell you right now that there will be no Visual Basic course. *l* Being incompatable with anything that isn't Windows, VB has no place on the internet. =P
As for the rest of the topics, I'll toss them around amung the engineers and see what we can come up with. =)

Firstly, I can understand why we can't go over VB. Being developed by Microsoft doesn't help it's chances either. =P
Now, on to my proper reply which is mainly for the Engineers..
Why aren't you replying to this poll and to the list? =P You should all be ashamed of yourselve's. =P *lol*
That is all, thank you.

Got PHP, PERL, and SQL down alright. Wouldn't mind an advanced course in ASP. Advanced Python would be nice too
