I think everyone should take a minute out of their busy schedules to contribute to a very worthwhile cause. OTF was created with a vision in mind. A vision where people all over the world could unite and be important. However, there is a Kady lurking around that has been in existence since 1998 and is eating out of dumpsters, sleeping on park benches, and befriending the many hordes of alley cats all because she cannot overcome the limitations set upon her by the ranking system. You see, some people are Republicans and some are Democrats. Some are short while others are tall. Some are fat...erm, I mean horizontally challenged, while others are skinny, erm, I mean horizontally limited. And some are senior officers while others are junior officers.
So, the point to all this rambling is this. Be a caring member of your community. Nominate a Kady for a promotion. Help get her off the streets and park benches.

 Thanks! It was meant to be in jest more than anything. Hard work, huh? *makes mental note: "Learn the meaning of the term 'hard work'. Hrm..."
And to anyone who might be annoyed by this post, well, sorry, but you had to see something like this coming sooner or later.

It has been brought to my attention that some people are rather "serious minded" and have taken offense to my post. I have no intention of trying to taint the ranking system and am sure that people have worked hard for their rankings.
On another note, isn't life just a little too serious as it is? On my commute to class this A.M. I heard that two more miners were in crisis due to a fire in WV. There is so much tragedy surrounding us every day of our lives. Sometimes, we need to laugh. Think of all the health problems, relationship problems, and others symptoms that arise from stress. Yes, we should all work hard and contribute something. But, answer me this. Did you do all that hard work because you wanted a promotion? I'm thinking not, because if that was your only motive, you would not have made it as far as you have. This applies in your real lives even more than it applies in OTF. You worked hard because you found something that you believed in and a group of people whom inspired you to work alongside them. Sometimes, that "slacker" or "loser" that you scorn at may be contributing in a way that goes unnoticed.
In another essence, if you are a teacher, do you become upset at every joke poking fun at teaching? If you are an artist, do you get offended at every joke poking fun of art? What about politics? The point is, we must embrace every outlook. Our differences are what make us a more complex and interesting species.

Hey I'm here with the paint and boards and sticks.
We're going to start painting "Vote For Kady" signs and we're going to obnoxiously hang them everywhere.
Please be sure to walk through the Outpost at least once a month with your "Vote for Kady" sign!!
Oh did I hear someone say "where can I vote?" You can vote over there *points to the large fishbowl sitting in the middle of nowhere* Just drop your "I voted for Kady" cards in the bowl.
*sits down on the ground and starts painting signs*
(People got offended...oh good grief! *shoots them* )

you know, I really feel bad for the person/s who took Kady's post serious. I found it to be quite entertaining myself, and i even found polsons comments about promotions funy as well.
looks like some people need to just relax and have fun. that is what OTF is about. yeah promotions and awards are nice, but they aren't everything

I deny the Darcy thing... Even though Polson has a lot of evidence, i still deny it. I am just hoping that she is decent enough to keep the mass of evidence to herself. Either that, or i hope she deleted it already.

Why are we voting with pebbles? I think you're being had, Kady... I'm pretty sure it should be ballot papers and not pebbles.  Or did I dream it?
My friend's dog was called Pebbles, actually. Heh.
Also, if promos are based on votes, Kady can have all of mine.
If someone is about to say "You can't say that!  " then I say "Yes I can, I just did, and that's an end to it! "
Persuasive arguments for the win. 
Also, I hope that these fish don't eat pebbles. Or ballot papers. Or fishfood. I forgot which it was.
